I don't get it, They released years ago. What am I missing here?
Pretty sure I own this on disc already.
Edit: Yup, steel book version "You last purchased this item on 17 Aug 2017"

So Yakuza Kiwami is finally getting a release on the Switch on October 24th with probably more Yakuza titles being ported to the system at a later date. Also, Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami never got a physical release on Xbox (it released only digitally) so for those wanting the games physically on this platform now's their chance.

This LRG Yakuza news is also basically a hint/tease that they'll be doing physical releases for Yakuza 0 to Yakuza 6 (see the commemorative slipcase I posted in the OP, as well as the picture in this post), which means that Xbox and Switch fans of Yakuza will have the opportunity to complete this collection.

But if you're a PS4 fan of the Yakuza series, it doesn't really matter, as you can already get these games physically quite cheaply for this system - Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami 1, Yakuza Kiwami 2, Yakuza Remastered Collection (3, 4, 5) and Yakuza 6.

Have them all physically on PS4. Fuck LRG. Donate money to JK Rowling's favorite charity in their name and fwd the thank you to them instead.

that would look nice on the shelf but I would much rather have the games to be graphically the same. Sucks going from 60fps to 30, back to 60 but ps3 graphics then back to 30 with good graphics.

Silent hill is handling their legacy poorly, I assume people played yakuza before but now it's not a problem for Nintendo fans to play it.

Figures the only way to get this physically on Switch is via LRG....damn monkey paw wish here. I do really want a physical version though....😮‍💨

Sega can print endless copies of Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, but has such a hard time figuring out how to put Persona 4 and Kiwami on a game card that they need LRG to step in?

As amazing as those classic editions would look on a shelf, a $525 asking price (*if LRG even get round to doing all of them), drip fed over a couple of years with crazy delivery times to boot, is all just a bit much. Especially since you can get the whole series on PC for dirt cheap at higher quality with restoration mods and they run like a dream on the Steam Deck.

AGAIN with fucking LRG. I don't want to support them, but they're the only option for games I want as a person who collects Switch games.

Wouldn't the PC version require a Steam account anyway? If so your "physical" is just a bunch of plastic items.
