I really like these three games, I adore FFT and Vagrant much, but PE also welcomed as well as the battle system is kind of Unique as well.
I wish they are remade or have proper sequels :,) dang, it is not because of nostalgia, but the games still hold to this age as well, as no other games like them.
I wish nothing stupid like story changing in sake of changes like FF7R th0 (while I like older FF7 i dont like FF7R, though I'm still playing it as well)
The battle system of VS and PE can be reused in newer games tho

I'm torn on this. I don't think Yoshi P is a very good director. He copied WoW and applied memberberries to it for FFXIV, which is his best work. On the other hand, unless somebody with some sway at S-E wills it, we'll likely never see anything else from these IPs. On the 3rd hand, even if Yoshi P brings back those IPs, the chances of the games remaining faithful or being good is pretty slim, which could kill the IPs outright.

They can bring them out, but please don't make them for the modern audiences. We really don't need that.

They're getting closer to re-releasing their entire legacy catalogue. Ignoring Parasite Eve, Vagrant Story, and Final Fantasy Tactics would be foolish. I can think of a number of their games I'd sacrifice for these games. Luckily I can play these on Vita. 3rd Birthday kinda sucked, so I'd take 1 & 2 plus a 4th game. 
It's great they're talking about it. What sucks for SE is that the mainline Final Fantasy hasn't been good since XII IMO.

Oh for sure, a PE3 would be awesome. But SE probably think that's too risky without seeing where fandom for the IP is at first, and a remake of the first two games would be a good way to gauge that.

Way I see it they could remake PE or make PE3 and get the same sales. And it'll be deemed a failure either way going by the Tomb Raider 2013 standard.

What I've been saying. After the underwhelming expansion that is Dawntrail you'd think he would put his attention on that. And I don't think him and Matsuno are going to work together again after Bozja/Zadnor.

Oh you misunderstood me, i don't give a damn about ff14, i just want this dude away from any project that can interest me, i had enough of him and his work with ff16.

FF16 proved he can only transfer his MMO output(not a compliment) to other games...which don't work with MMO design. He should not be put on for other projects as they will be streamlined in the same manner that FF16 was.
A lot of the "talent" left at SE realistically should not touch anything regarding these old franchises. Until the overall gameplay and design of XIV is overhauled the game IMO is dead and stagnant. It's just a popular WoW clone at this point.
