I replayed FF 7 as soon as I found out he does that.
I got him on my first playthrough, but didn't use him.

I hope they kept that character quirk in Rebirth.

It's as eye candy to me as a nice ass.

But I wouldn't replay any game because of that, I did because I already love FF 7, and it's a fun replayable game.

Not exactly the same thing OP asked, but OG RE3 Nemesis did the twirling-shotgun-reload-animation as an homage to Terminator 2, back in 1999.

Totally agree.
I didn't like it the first time I played it, but on revisit, while flawed like you said, it has a strange draw to it... I like it.

Yeah, you get parts for it for continuing to beat Nemesis in Hard mode, he drops the parts after the first few drops.

It was fun but I got burnt out by the last quarter of the game when I played it on DC and moved on to Grandia II. This direct matchup made me weary of random battles for the rest of my life.

All three games have a solid story mode with some great levels and bosses. The singleplayer DLC have also been really good, especially Octo expansion for Splatoon 2.
