No contrast, everything is just overly bright and colorful to the point of looking like a damn Disney movie. Where's the grime, where's the soot and the dirt? They messed with the color grading when no one asked them to and the end result is the lighting is completely devoid of style or direction. They just slapped on RT without worrying about scene composition or how inaccurate shadows can still add some much needed flair and atmosphere to a scene.

The new looks objectively better in every way. You're just allergic to bright colors.

That era (mistakenly) believed that monochrome = realism, and I'm frankly glad that much has changed at least. The original had extremely flat lighting and a terrible, headache-inducing lack of color. The new game looks like it's splashed in sunlight, which it should be.

That last screenshot in particular looks terrible. In the original, the main character looks like some sort of beastly abomination made of melted wax. The remaster makes him look like a human being.

It's Ass Creed, though, so in the end I don't really care anyway.

Yep, what I said still stands. There's a huge overreliance on color-grading, which was the rendering technique du joir in that era. The first shot isn't colorful, it's nearly monochromatic, with a hazy blue filter that frankly hurts to look at. The second shot is also a hazy, blurry mess. The third shot looks fine, though.

I'd make a theatre or a series to Assassin's Creed and Prince of Persia. No, these aren't failed Hollywood actors and actress, they have their special place to all their fans. Personally, I'd abandon the number one show just to see Assassin's Creed on TV.

You had one job Ubisoft, and that was to build on what you had created for Star Wars Outlaws and bring it to the sequel with further improvements, but we won't get that now, who knows if we'll even get another Star Wars game with the same sort of theme to it, and not related to any Jedi story...
