You know what i find annoying? When English TV shows have different narrators depending on region.

Take Mythbusters for example. Instead of the great Robert Lee, most of us here in Europe got stuck with an Irish guy by the name of Robin Banks. Nothing against the guy personally, but his voice just doesn't fit this kind of show.



Another example which I'm currently having problem with is Mayday/Air Crash Investigation/Air Emergency/Air Disasters/whatever they choose to call the show. This one has three (and possible more) narrators depending on which region/channel you are watching it on/in. And episodes available online tends to switch between them quite freely.

(couldn't find a full episode with the third guy on Youtube, but he is the one i tend to look for as he sounds the best)

Didn't the BBC planet earth documentary get rebranded and narrated by Oprah in the states? I find that an odd choice.
