is beloved, despite what anyone might say
Alrighty, I noticed the pizza thread and the Subway thread and of course I love talking about food (maybe even more than I do about video games!) so this is another question... as someone who eats at chains a lot (it's easier to get my friends/gf to go to chains than eat say Korean or Thai food), I was wondering what's your favorite?

For me, it's gotta definitely be Chili's... though when in Columbus OH with my ex and her friends, we ate at this one restaurant called O'Charleys... it really kicked ass, apparently it's a chain in the South but unfortunately I'm from the metro area that gets most chains LAST (seriously, I was in 7th grade when the first K Mart was built around here, and only within the last 2 or 3 years did we see Best Buys and Chilis out here - I found out about most chains from when I went to the Space Coast, Florida to visit my grandparents). Fridays is alright but a bit bland and Applebees is good for 1/2 price appetizers but their actual meals suck :p Houlihans and Outback are pretty good but I think those are 2 we only have around this area (I may be wrong).

I am a chain restaurant expert. I probably go out to eat 2-3 times a week.

Approve:
Cheddars
Ruby Tuesday's
Logan's Steakhouse
O'Charley's
Macaroni Grill
South of the Border
Champs Sports Bar.

Do NOT Approve:

Applebees
ANY buffet (Golden Corral, Hometown, Ryan's Steak, etc)
TGIF's (Although the Jack Daniels line of food is good)
Outback (too much seasoning in EVERYTHING)

I live about 30 minutes north of Columbus, Oh. I think it might be the chain restaurant capital of the world. Any restaurant that has a franchise seems to open up there.

I think the macaroni grill is WAY over rated. I just had some pine seed pizza or something to that effect for lunch and ugh...

Kings. I don't know where all in the country they have them, but they have them in western Pennsylvania for sure.

The Royal Fork Buffet is a great restaurant. My family and I always try to eat there when we're down in the states in Bellingham. Good quality food.

It's all over. Ironically, there no Big Apple Bagels in New York.
