Ants. I lived in a first floor apartment and the little fuckers locked on to a food source; my cat's food. There would be a visible line of them across the carpet. Exterminator made them go away for a while but there were several colonies, apparently.

Never had roaches but there are some fucking beetles or crickets or something in the outside brick wall of my bedroom and in the morning they do this thing that sounds like they're pulling a long zip tie. So freaking loud and annoying.
