Classic bodybuilders in the 70's practiced sucking up their gut into their chest, called it "the vacuum". I find it odd, but aesthetically more pleasing than the bloated stomach they all sport post 90's.

Arnold epitomized the massive chest/shoulders/back with a wasp waist, then flared out quads. Just the King.

He's also on record with some of the crazy shit he had to do to get that Baywatch body. It's simply not health or attainable by normal means, paraphrasing what he said but there is some pretty stupid shit those Hollywood folk do for their bodies to sell tickets. He was using diuretics beyond normal means and was fucked with insomnia or depression for months after Baywatch too. Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) has said similar too.
