Yea. While not really doing video games any more I always respect Ashens for essentially giving Youtube the middle finger over such things by swearing even more. He gets his money from patreon and not sponsorships so he doesn't care.

Well, that's pretty much the end for Escapist. I can't imagine anyone giving a shit about anything on that website besides ZP.

I hope Yahtz will also find success in whatever he's gonna do now. Just because ZP was good doesn't mean that everything he touches turns to gold. Remember Game Damage? Yeesh.

Although I did follow his YouTube exploits for years when he did those let's play videos with that Gabe guy, until he moved to the US and they had to stop. It was a fun series but probably for a more niche audience.

I am a bit surprised he was still doing this, but good for him that he managed to keep it up and be prolific for so long.

The Escapist has been circling the drain for the last year. They keep experimenting with new ways to monetize, and it's affected how their content is released, and even the content itself. This wasn't expected, but it's certainly not surprising.

I hope the talent can find a new venture that's successful.
