Do they have some sort of power or ability we lack that they can punish us with for not agreeing with them? Or are they simply looking for people to block out that dont agree with them to cut down on the amount of rational thinking responses they might get?

I mean if someone shoots you, steals your stuff, or whatever is you're one and only stop on twitter and then sit back and just complain? No, you call the police, you file a report, you get a lawyer. You do everything except get on social media.
I mean am I such a bad person for saying "show me the proof" when someone makes a claim against someone else online. Show me the police report, show me their record where a jury and judge decided they were guilty, do something to prove to me what you claim is real. "Because I said so on twitter" doesn't mean shit.

I would say GAF is centrist tipping to the left slightly overall but we do have some right-wingers and there is nothing wrong their views just conservative in their thinking/political views.

GAF had more right wing posters in one political sub forum than it maybe used to in terms of a ratio, but the moderation is pretty fair and neutral and tons of left leaning posters are here too. You can discuss whatever you want really.

Sure leaning right is not alt-right, but for a lot of folks online leaning right means being alt-right and that's how they'd perceive posts supporting trump or republican policies.

Honestly even racist and white supremacist have lost all meaning to me. I'm 30 years old and when I was a youngster those terms implied something far different. Now if you talk about white people positively that's white supremacy. If you believe race has a genetic basis, is not a social construct, and/or that the races are different in any way, that's racism now. I reject the entire paradigm.
