If it was fine to have no space after |OT| you would put the wo outside of that. Hell, maybe even with a space it could look OK.I might be mistaken, but I think modifying the |OT| thing for official threads is against the rules/standards for official threads. At the very least I'm pretty sure I've seen things like that shot down before.
Not bad, except I don't want to give any lurkers/posters the slightest impression of Switch here.
I think |OT2| would confuse some people. Let's go with |OTwo| since that still fits the pun.
Thank you for bringing this up. I've got an alternate version of the tag I'd like to use, but I'll PM a mod about this since policy comes before puns.I might be mistaken, but I think modifying the |OT| thing for official threads is against the rules/standards for official threads. Well, they made it three years for weak PCs before the 3DS launched, and the game's designed around controls which work well on keyboard + mouse and gamepad. It's definitely a top-line Falcom game for its era, and I'd say it still looks cool.Really curious about this game. A quick glance would be a pass for me as it looks like a 3DS game..... But it's falcom.

In related news, the team working on an English patch for Zwei!! gave me and some others a beta to test. They may or may not have time to distribute a release candidate before Ilvard Insurrection launches, so I'm taking my time on this one.

A bunch of portrait text, save data, and certain graphics need tweaking for English, but the NPC/story stuff's all there now. So far it's a surprisingly tough game unless you down all your healing items per each dungeon run...I'm trying to save up for the food exchange and to get more money for equipment.
Didn't know anything about this game until I saw this thread. Put it immediately on my Steam wishlist. Game looks like it oozes that adventurous charm I'd see in Mega Man Legends, Grandia, etc. Can't wait!
Legends seems like a good reference point since Ilvard has as much detail and humor (and more) as Kattelox Island. The dungeon crawling's meatier in this one, but that doesn't limit the story and snark.
I'd like to buy it day one but I'm a bit short of money this time ^^"Game releases October 31 at $30 with a 10% launch discount.
Thank you, added to the wishlistBumping the thread to say the game is out on Steam now.
If sales were actually bad for XSEED's own finances, they would have stopped at Xanadu Next. Thinking in depth about what happened to this game's release timing, I suspect this was, sadly, the best chance to release the project and move on. Delaying it a second time would have pissed away the goodwill of fans who have bought it on Day 1. Releasing it in a likely less-than-playable state back in summer would have ruined the game's reputation and chances for discussion in the West (and XSEED would look hypocritical since they're vocal about testing games thoroughly before launch). The silver linings so far are more reviews than usual for a obscure Falcom release (because the game featured at E3) and more chances for deep discounts which still pay out for XSEED. I think it'll sell much better once they time a sale with Sara's 60-FPS-visuals upgrade for the game.I know Steamspy isnt reliable for the first few days and under a certain number but the first days sales of this game are saddeningXSeeD ports and localizations seem to fail pretty badly on Steam.
Both games have you eat to gain EXP, treasure/fossil collecting for a local museum, distinct stages in dungeons with completion ranks, two swap-able fighter characters with unique abilities, colorful art style and music, a lot of gear/accessories to equip, and the usual well-designed Falcom boss fights and levels. Zwei: II differs in that it's mostly an upgrade and iteration on its prequel, Zwei!!, which fixes pretty much of the first game's issues while adding new mechanics and a more detailed, loopy story.I've heard Trails of Nayuta is basically Zwei III. How true is that?
