So yeah, Kayaba's portrayal is what pisses me off the most about this series. I'm totally indifferent to all the rapey stuff, tentacles, Kirito being a Gary Stu and whatever else. It just doesn't sit right with me that Sugu, a massive prick with somewhat minor evil intentions, is portrayed A LOT worse than a straight-up mass murderer. I actually felt a bit bad for Sugu at the end considering he's probably paralyzed for life now while Kayaba gets to live in the fuckawesome digital world.
