Yeah the camera is only for the middle section so you can hear it accelerate and then slow down.

If everyone is being measured the same way, then it's fair

i guess you want horizontal airtime vs vertical. But if they judge vertical jumps higher then that detracts from time. I'm sure they have it worked out, but I was just thinking of ways in which the score could be self-defeating.
