I'm still teary eyed.

Jeff Davis just said on Wolf Watch, when asked about Lydia, that we'll meet
another banshee this season.

Edit: That preview was some straight up Harper's Island realness. Also, hurray for
Dethan!
:D

I cried
like, real crying with sobbing and all
it's just.. it's just when Scott started crying and he implied that he would be willing to turn Stiles into a werewolf it just fucking broke my heart and then they hugged and oh my god why

this show is so evil and so amazing

so anyway, spoiler shit:

stuff about ep19 "Letharia Vulpina"
Scott and the others try to stop a major disaster from happening. Allison and Lydia seek an unlikely teacher.

More stuff about the new character in season 4:
His name is Liam, described as "being an arrogant, but a big-hearted high-school freshman. He has an enviable athletic prowess with perfect grades"
Looks like he's a freshman, which makes sense considering his age...
still seems like a Jackson copy tbh, but maybe he's nicer and
maybe he's gay

Holy fuck, what kind of madness and emotion did I just witness :(

- STILES NO! WE SAW THIS COMING, BUT STILL! Honestly, I thought the answer to the riddle was 'mind' or 'life'. Dumb. The thing in Stiles' head was far creepier before it removed the bandages. Just seeing himself was not creepy. Should have been something scarier. But still, I was goddamn scared during the scenes where that thing is walking around Stiles' mind. These people know their horror. Seriously, the horror was so on point this episode. Credit to Dylan O'Brien. Killed it in this episode.

- So much emotion :( Dementia scares, evil dopplegangers, best friends in mortal danger. I feel bad for Sheriff Stilinski.

- Good to see Agent McCall not be a douche for a change. Way to have a hero moment.

- Poor Lydia :( Her doubting herself broke my heart, especially since Stiles is always the one with hundred percent faith in her. I like that he framed her drawing. And the red strings whispering... such a nice and creepy touch.

- Yeah! A Scott/Derek bonding moment. Scott and Stiles hugging. Stilinski seeing the MRI scans :(

- Kira's mom is a hardcore badass with Oni bodyguards. Nice.

- That stuff about the 'fake' internment camp was super creepy. Like, imagine receiving those messages on your phone.

This fucking show, man. This fucking show.

These fucking emotions I cannot deal it is not fair
Seriously some amazing tv, loved every minute of everything

I find it odd that kira's mum would send the oni after her own daughter.

I wonder if the song choice that Lydia was listening to in her car has more meaning. The song and video are pretty cray

edit; Assuming they don't kill him off I am so so here for Stiles being the big bad of this season. He's a really good actor

I feel bad for both of them.

So anyway, in last week's Wolf Watch, Holland Roden said that Stiles calling Melissa "Mom" was foreshadowing.
Stiles and Scott becoming brothers confirmed.

Stiles'dad dies and Melissa adopts him, obviously :E
Stiles dad to be killed by Stiles himself, of course!

edit; Assuming they don't kill him off I am so so here for Stiles being the big bad of this season. He's a really good actor

I don't know anymore if he is the only good one or just a really good one. He's definitely miles ahead the rest of the cast though. Lydia can be good too.

This show is so much much better than it has any right to be. If you would have told me that an MTV remake of Teen Wolf would have ended up being one of my favorite shows currently on the air I would have laughed in your face. This season has been genuinely great. Also I really do hope Dylan O'Brien manages to breakout and be in better movies. Dude was fantastic in last night's episode.

MY BRO.

Real quick, though, before we get into it. Can I rant for a second about the MTV suggested hash tags again? I know I mention it every week, BUT I SHOULD MENTION IT EVERY WEEK because they are so, so awful. And this ties into what I was saying before: The Teen Wolf writers slave over every word to get across a maximum of storytelling and emotion in a minimum of words, often finding strength in just letting something play out without explanation. And then suddenly some bozo writes a hashtag on the bottom of the screen, just absolutely robbing the moment of its profundity or meaning. It made me so mad when last week's episode hash-tagged that fleeting moment where Stiles mistakenly called Melissa "Mom," and it was even worse this week, when "#StilinskiFamilyFeels" came up while Sheriff Stilinksi processed the information that his son had an INCURABLE BRAIN DISEASE. Honestly, people in power reading this, President Obama, ANYBODY. Please, please stop MTV from doing this. They are ruining these scenes. Guys, I feel very passionate about this, sorry. It's because Teen Wolf is so manifestly well-done and these hash tags threaten to make it seem just as crass as any other subpar teen serial. Is there an e-petition I can sign?

So fucking true.

Kira's dad is the best.

I'm quite lucky in that I've never really noticed the hastags before
No doubt after I've read that I'll subconsciously be looking out for them next episode

The hashtags are truly stupid. I ignore them, but man, when they're pointed out, so dumb.

(This suggested hashtag particularly enraged me.) Stilinski Family Feels? Way to ruin a perfectly moving moment with stupid tumblr lingo! Oh I am so, so steamed.

I KNOW I HAD STILINSKI FAMILY FEELS, I DON'T NEED MTV TO GET ME TWEET IT

I don't think I've ever noticed the hash tags but if I did it would piss me off. Because like the tv.com recap says, they are stupid and ruin some scenes.

As to that potential spoiler :O

And the mummy guy was creepy as fuck.

This show is getting insanely good. E18 is unquestionably one of the best episodes in the series. Pitch perfect horror and drama, excellent pacing, substantial character development, and some of the cast's most effective work ever. Dylan O'Brien is going to go far as an actor, no doubt about it. I just hope this isn't the beginning of the end for Stiles. He is the heart of the show.

Super hyped to see him play the villain. I expect great things. Remember when he was just Scott's goofy brainy pal? Talk about range.

O'Brien is seriously fantastic. I hope he goes on to do bigger stuff after, but I really don't want him to leave Teen Wolf.

I really hope he remains a series regular all the way to the end. Teen Wolf has an ensemble cast, and every member holds their own better than I ever would have expected, but if you had to pick the lead actor, it's Dylan.

Oh that promo
Coach has been shot?

Man, this show is fucking awesome. And if you'd have asked if I thought it would be before it came out, I'd have said fuck no.

Great episode. Dylan is fucking fantastic.

Finally watched the episode. Omg all my feels ;_; But lawd if DarkStiles isnt hot when he's just not bothered by anything. Kira's Mom being a badass with her Oni's Love it.

One thing I dont like is how the heck is Allison even tied to the plot atm? Other than "LETS CALL SCOTT" or "OH ISSAC IS HERE I GET A SCENE"

I think/hope the 'old friend' is someone we haven't seen at all this season yet. I want a surprise!
