Nintendo Direct Feb 13, 2014 Thread | 3DS/Wii U Spring games

Oh yeah, I hope we see more of Hyrule Warriors.

And the Zelda-themed Sonic Lost World, if it's cool enough I might give in and purchase Lost World.

Ah, mistake, thought you were confirming it. I didn't read carefully enough. Too much hype.

Seems silly that they would make the listing without even confirming or double checking it.
 
why dont they just port all the million selling 3ds games to wii u ;)

luigi, fire emblem, pokemon, kid icarus. at least it would help ppl forget the software drought.
 
As strange as I feel about it, I really hope we see some more Hyrule Warriors. Maybe because I want to get it over with and decide that kind of game isn't for me? I'm not really sure... Hopefully I'm wrong, and it will be great.


Speaking of those feelings, I'll take more Sonic Boom footage while we're at it!
 
Was so hype for the next direct but somehow now that its announced I don't expect much in this one. Its the vibes man.

Well I hope they have something neat, but judging by Nintendo's behavior lately, I'll set my expectations for so rock bottom low that it's impossible to be disappointed.
 
This is what I've been waiting for. To the point I was close to making thread pondering the lack of Direct.

My reasonable-ish expectations for the NA Direct:

-Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze launch trailer
-Mario Kart 8 footage + release date
-Steel Diver Subwars
-Either Bayonetta 2, X, or Hyrule Warriors confirmed for June release
-Diddy Kong revealed for Smash

-Yoshi's New Island trailer
-Kirby: Triple Deluxe release date
-Mario Golf: World Tour trailer + release date
-1 or 2 new 3DS games
 
If it's only for spring I guess the Wii U portion will be short. :P

I just hope this means we get a release for Mario Golf.

Except the Mario Golf part.
 
Serious question - how many of you have problems watching these live? UK Gaffer here with 20Mb broadband yet I always seem to get a shitty juddery stream. So much so that despite being hyped for this, I will likely avoid GAF for an hour and watch it after it has gone out.

Actually not hyped. Expecting disappointment. Either way it's going to be entertaining.
 
Yay, more Directs! With every new Direct, I need to make some predictions:

- A trailer of Yoshi's New Island and some reveal about new gameplay changes.
- PW vs Layton for NA in April.
- Calciobit for EU in April.
- Jam with the Band 3DS localization, EU exclusive.
- MK8 trailer and some cool reveals (Cranky).
- Mario Golf 3DS for may.
- Bayonetta 2 for June.

Direct-bomb: Legend of Zelda U teaser, wait for E3 for more info, release within 2014.

This, plus a surprise announcement of "Pokkén Fighters: The Rising Fist" and Bayo2 release date, would be more than enough for me.

Oh, and to see who's "Year" is it next. "Year of Yoshi"? "Year of Bowser"? ......

I think they're just going to use this as a final push for Tropical Freeze. I have no faith in anything exciting falling out of Nintendo's gaping product hole any more.
