Guys, are you serious? This was not an offense against anyone of you personally so what is your problem? If I get a ban for writing down my opinion than I don't know why I should spent my time here on GAF any longer, honestly.

I was a long-time supporter of Nintendo since my childhood and had Wii U on Day 1, watched every Nintendo Direct up to July of last year and got constantly disappointed with Iwata and what he did leading up to nowadays with their absurd 'health strategy' and practically no games on-sight or long-awaited franchises plus games that could basically be released on the original Wii (DKC:TF). That is exactly why I'm upset about it.

I got it that this thread is just about the upcoming Nintendo Direct so I'll leave now and wish you all a nice enjoyment during the Direct anyway.

Coming into a Nintendo Direct thread and posting about how they should go third party and bring their games to other platforms is going to piss people off, and is usually frowned upon.

Honestly it's not really hard to see why you probably shouldn't have made that post.

No confirmation but the general assessment seems to be that if it's a Direct that features on the core audience (mainly EU/NA as well), it'd be better to have it late.

That's just some peoples' theory, though.

I'm still holding out for Iwata to announce during a Nintendo Direct:

"After our presentation, WiiU owners will be able to experience the latest adventures of Bayonetta, with a demo to Bayonetta 2 on Nintendo WiiU eShop. The demo will be available after our presentation."

Then queue the eShop servers being slow and it goes down for "maintenance".

Even if it was the same E3 demo that I played last year, I'd still be playing the hell out of it.

Probably mature content (can't show mature content before 10pm in European Nintendo Directs). If I had to guess I'd say Bayonetta 1 remake and Devil Third will be shown.

The last direct that I remember being this hyped about was the E3 one and that was just torture trying to watch through all the stuttering and slowdown. Nope. It's way too soon for a new main series game. X & Y are only 4 months old. It would be a horrible business decision
