Cap actually isn't in the present day part.
Jim Lee did a bunch of Marvel work before X-Men. I used to read Punisher War Journal and he drew that.
And knowing what I do now about how Claremont started getting screwed by Marvel around that time makes Claremont signing the inside of my copy of that issue that already had Jim Lee's autograph on the cover make sense.

Doesn't say much, but clearly isn't taking this as seriously as he should be. Then when the Destroyer arrives and is about to fire its first blast, we close in on his face, he shouts "MOVE!" and basically tries to slow this thing from reaching the town where he then meets up with the Sif and the Warriors Three, and fights along with them.

I mean it's so fucking obvious and they didn't do it.

Got to love the people scrutinizing Scarlett Johansen's looks. I am sure your standards in real life will lead to disappointment.

Also the ideas that Marvel should replace the actress now. That really makes a lot of sense. Build up a character in several movies and replace her before her solo outing.
