It's not really long as they're covering both platforms. Shorter ones are usually platform specific.

Nope. It's way too soon for a new main series game. X & Y are only 4 months old. It would be a horrible business decision

W2/B2 were released slightly over a year after B/W. Announcing a game for it to release in 8 to 12 months is completely fair and on schedule with the normal release dates for the main series.

Guys, are you serious? This was not an offense against anyone of you personally so what is your problem? If I get a ban for writing down my opinion than I don't know why I should spent my time here on GAF any longer, honestly.

I was a long-time supporter of Nintendo since my childhood and had Wii U on Day 1, watched every Nintendo Direct up to July of last year and got constantly disappointed with Iwata and what he did leading up to nowadays with their absurd 'health strategy' and practically no games on-sight or long-awaited franchises plus games that could basically be released on the original Wii (DKC:TF). That is exactly why I'm upset about it.

I got it that this thread is just about the upcoming Nintendo Direct so I'll leave now and wish you all a nice enjoyment during the Direct anyway.

B2/W2 were announced 1 year and 4 months after BW were released. They were released 1 year and 9 months after BW were released.

It is WAY too soon for it. This would be 4 months after XY. That would be unprecedented and not on schedule with normal releases.

3-4: excited to talk about quality of life products, but more will be revealed later. please be excited for e3
5-10: starting with 3ds, bravely default launched in the united states and there will be more rpgs on the way, but right now they want to talk about dragon quest vii, launching in may. for fans of bravely default, stay tuned for information on the sequel later this year
