I honestly want to see ZERO Pokemon in this Direct.
If there's one series that we can wait on, it's Pokemon. We've already seen B/W and B2/W2 and then X/Y recently, never mind the spinoffs.
Pokemon is just another Nintendo series that's TOO OBVIOUS. We know there will be another one (likely "Pokemon Z") so there's no reason to tease or show it.
I was also pissed that one of the previous Directs (the E3 one, I think?) had X/Y footage, especially after there was already a Pokemon-focused roundtable planned. Pokemon is huge, yes, but I feel that it should just get its own Developer Direct or something at this point.

We'll get an announcement of Rhythm Heaven 4, I can feel it.

It's true that the most diehard, buy-everything zelda fans may burn out. They should probably start chilling pretty soon if all they plan to do is double-down on the remakes and direct sequels.
However, there are a large number of possible customers who have bought, like, OoT and TP and skipped some or all other zeldas. A darker zelda would appeal to such a wide audience relative to the various recent zelda products that franchise fatigue would pretty much evaporate instantly. Darker doesn't even mean violent, mature, or edgy. It's just that for an adventure game, some amount of percceived danger is necessary, and many people will never get that from something like wind waker.
It's never too soon.

Heartgold and soul silver came out around 11 years after gold and silver. Ruby and sapphire turns 12 later this year...

I loved Mega Man as a kid, but I always did like the X series more... but I feel like X3 was the last good one. I'd happily take a new Mega Man X game if they want to give me one. That's why I Kickstarted Mighty No. 9

I'll accept a new X game. X1-5 and X8 were outstanding games. X1 is one of the best games of all time. So yeah X9 16-bit would also be acceptable.
But it has to be MM11. 8-bit Mega Man 11. On Wii U and 3DS. Published by Nintendo like when they put out MM6.

That said, I would settle for (though not buy) a Trigger or .EXE title. Rock and Zero have continued to get enough lead time in the last few years that they can be given a break.

- Proof that Nintendo is going all in to save Wii U both with 1st party and 3rd party software
- "Only for GamePad" games
- New 3rd party partners
- Project CARS mention, "racing wheel support will be coming as well"
- iOS-to-eShop games labeled "better with buttons"
- Virtual Console blow out. New N64 emulator with 1080p/60 for all games.
- Majora's Mask 3D + Twilight Princess HD
- Epic Yarn 2 starring Yoshi
- What's next for Retro Studios
- More GameCube/Wii HD ports
- uDraw'ish kids software.
- EA Sports back for this fall
- My personal port wish: Ultra Street Fighter IV
What I think we'll see:
- More from Mario Kart 8
- More from Smash Bros
- DS Virtual Console
- FAST Racing Neo
- Renegade Kid @ 3DS: Moon Chronicles, Cult County
- Maybe 1 surprise for Wii U (they seriously need SOMETHING to get people talking)

The game looks more or less like a follow-up to Xenoblade. Not entirely the same, obviously, but perhaps in the same spirit in terms of game structure.
Xenoblade was really successful overall, right? I don't think Nintendo would mess with that.

No. It performed meh to bad in Japan. It performed better in North America and Europe but even then it didn't do anything to really write home about.
