You mean that fierce American divo that's in 6th place, Jason Brown, could get a medal? 'Cause that boy is flawless; his jumps just aren't as big. Ooh, I'm not going to spoil myself for tonight.

I really wish I could learn what the jumps are. I understand that the axel is the hardest and its an extra rotation and that you jump facing the front but that is it.

Was just watching a video that explained them all...still all look the bloody same.

I dunno, I might be way off with this but the whole scoring system seems rotten if its paint by the numbers bullshit approach that wins regardless of overall impression. There should be much heavier penalties for falls to be honest, overall impression has to matter more than individual elements :/ regardless, this was just shit.

Is Patrick and that Japanese guy the only ones that can do quad axels? That why their scores are higher than everyone else's?

Maybe it will motivate Chan to skate 4 more years, so we won't fall to the bottom of the ranking in men's skating. Silver lining, litterally,

Assuming you're British, your ladies' Curling team have a pretty solid medal shot. Not sure about any other sports.

Yeah, both our curling teams have the potential to be awesome, although they don't always perform. I think there's another sliding chance, too - 4-man bob?

Not officially, but it was implied. Virtue/Moir also retiring.
To retire at 23 seems super young especially when he is top of the world in non-olympic events.
Virtue/Moir have won gold though, so they've earned it.
Will miss dat virtue though.
