It's amazing how consistent Psyduck's design has been since the very first game. Some Pokemon received almost unrecognizable redesigns with Yellow, but there his is still confused as ever in Green.

Psyduck is like Sugimori's favorite Pokemon. Probably felt it was right the first time.

Me too. I think I prefer the original Machop family, even if they looked silly. And I admit I never really liked Gengar, but the old one looks pretty cool!
