Actually your right. That might have been for the best. Getting rid of a high level hitmonlee sucked though. Would have atleast been a good replacement for one of our sucky pokemon.

This will happen again, you know perfectly well we're gonna catch more pokemon and when we need space for lapras we're gonna lose someone else. That said the game is hardly unwinnable at this point. We might lost a bunch of viewers in the process but we can eventually grind the keeper and digrat enough to clear the tower and then move onto Sabrina and then i forget what the hell comes after that.

While the thought of losing our bird and saviour does terrify me, the danger of accidental release is a huge part of what makes this fun.

Losing Abby and Jay is a huge part of the hilarity surrounding this.
