Who the hell could've predicted the ledge, it's such a non factor when playing by yourself.
Yeah seriously. Even without Psychic Drowzee is a solid addition to the team, and he's only two levels from evolving.
Plus he's one of our only two pokemon that can taken down ghosts.
I hope they deposit the Helix instead of him.

I'm pretty sure there's an in-game trade for Kadabra, Machoke and Haunter in this version. It doesn't really matter since Haunter is good on his own, problem is both Haunter and Gengar are severely gimped without TM's.

It's super-effective!
It's supereffective so all Gastly's moves are useful in the tower. That also means the enemies hit him hard too though.

I leave it up and do other things. After a while you get a sense when something important is happening and look over.
Night Shade and Lick work, yes.
Did we manage to pick up Ice Beam? Could be useful when we finally get Lapras...
Yes but lick has little power and Gastly's att stat is awful.
Nightshade is the way to go.

Nobody realized we'd be relying on an overleveled Pidgeot who didn't know Wing Attack, nobody realized we'd be losing Charmeleon (Who learns Flamethrower later), etc. As we got closer to Pokemon Tower, we started to realize we were gonna crash and say "Let's grind Drowzee", but nobody listened. Then we reached Pokemon Tower, and whadya know, we had no decently leveled Pokemon that could hit Ghosts.
