He quoted me telling me what I did was nice, and his avatar wasn't transparent and just a piece of black behind Missile, so I thought I'd do it for him as well because it seemed like he'd like one, hence the hint hint.

You inspired me to finally figure out how to make them, so thanks for that.

Not every avatar has to have transparency...

It was B/W 2.0. Not really that exciting.

I played a hack for my second Black 2 playthrough that introduced all 649 Pokemon through wild encounters or events and upped the challenge (before using the Challenge Key, which will yet again up the level curve and trainer AI to basically every fight plays out like a good endgame gym leader) and it was the absolute shit. I'm hoping that the next few Pokemon games compensate for EXP Share's new mechanics with stronger trainers because I like that it enables mass training - and X and Y are super varied in terms of available Pokemon - but playing the game like any other game in the series results in a pretty easy experience

watch the democracy rise as we near the pokemon centre.

we need not your demonic ways dome! we can do it on our own damn it

It really blows my mind that the only games with more than one region are still Gold/Silver (and the remakes). It's so fun to go through a whole second region, even if it's a bit smaller.

I completely agree. After Gold and Silver, my expectations were for future games to include more than one region. It made me so sad as a kid that they never went that route.

I was very reluctant. I didn't liked the Mega-Evolution thing and haven't liked much a Pokemon game in a long time; but i watched Origins and got over-hyped that didn't though anymore and bought Y. Yeah, i was right to be reluctant. That's why i'm loving this stream (besides the hilarity of watching Red going in circles). Hopefully next game can catch the essence of old games (and the challenge, Y is beyond easy too! >_< )

I think my biggest problem is that all of the Pokemon designs look so dumb. Like...incredibly dumb. The graphics look great, but it looks like it's still missing that old magic. I might get it when it's super cheap
if it ever drops in price

Very few of us here seem to feel that way about Black and White. I wonder why. I always hear people praising its soundtrack which is catchy at best and doesn't evoke the same kind of adventurous feel as literally any other generation's soundtrack (or asthetic) imo. I love pretty much every single battle theme (Colress's BW2 battle theme is my #1 track) and I adored most of the Pokemon designs but I just wasn't feeling it. The aesthetic, the weird sprites in battle, the world design and progression, etc.

I played through maybe 3/4 of W and maybe 1/2 of W2, and I don't really know how I made it that far to begin with. Nothing about it was special, really. I agree with you on almost everything, with the exception that I can't remember a single track from it.

It starting to feel weird fighting with you over this fossil based religion

BIRD JESUS WILL MAKE YOU EAT THOSE WORDS WENCH!

It's all in good fun!

Agreed! D/P was a real letdown I felt. I've heard Platinum is a bit better, but it just fundamentally wasn't there for me. B/W was a little better but still didn't feel as great as 1/2/3. B2/W2 was more of the same, actually worse in some ways, and I haven't gotten a chance to try X/Y yet (but I will if I pick up that 2DS deal in March!) but from what I've been told the easy factor is way up and it doesn't live up to the hype. Still want my mega manectric though.

Emerald, for me, was the pinnacle of the series so far. Everything was just so great about Gen III, and Emerald combining R/S stories and all was so neat.

I really did love R/S/E. I think it's the last great Pokemon generation, and I would be so hyped if they remade it for the 3DS. I loved the hideouts and spent an incredibly long time getting all the furniture. Man, I want to play it again...

Sweet lord, is the Fuschia center contagious or something? Why do they keep walking in to that place where all those tasty poison Pokemon reside?

Dumb? Don't know what you mean :D. But yeah, i still miss the magic - in either design (i loved the initial watercolor style of Sugimori) and challenge - from the old games; i know that tomorrow when i get HeartGold i'm gonna get hooked all the weekend. And yeah, good luck waiting the price drop too u,u

I know its just I feel like were GAF friends now and I feel bad because your one of the only dome supporters lol

Even if he is burned to a crisp we still have digraticate! He will rise up and dig us up some vengeance!

Am I the only one who thinks that Gen IV's music is hella underrated? It's got this level of charm and grandiosity to a lot of its tracks and manages to sound unique to the rest of the series without feeling like a complete departure.

Shit it's basically euro-Hoenn where all the horns are pianos instead

Only real standout issue with its soundtrack is some of the boss battle themes...
and it really could have used an improved soundfont

Hahah yeah I know what you mean. It's kind of hilarious though. :D

It was the last genuinely good gen for music, IMO. 5 and 6 are complete trainwrecks versus the first 4.

Oh man, thank you! I just lost my keys; I'm glad someone found them so quickly!

As someone said before, the Church of the Helix always help those in need; even those who have gone astray of it's path. Anyway, i'm done for tonight, i hope i don't miss much until i wake up tomorrow. Keep fighting against Democracy and the Dome guys!!
