I did always really enjoy the Team Plasma battle music from B/W. It's that one riff that's really catchy (starts at 0:13 and shows up throughout).

There has always been horribly designed Pokemon in each generation, it just becomes more and more noticeable as they pile up
Cynthia's theme has a kickass opening and then becomes merely above average. The drumbeat is still cool though.

I have no problem with it. The people making the complaints usually show a strong preference for animal-like ones and ignore the ones that would suit their preferences to go after something like klefki, which as a steel-fairy is blatantly not supposed to be animal-like.
Garbodor's line though, ain't even gonna try to defend that shit.

Oh, sure, now that we are actually prepared for the gym red is stuck on the mean streets of Fuschia.
The "artificial" pokemon that have piled up have made me want to see a game where the emergence of new species is a plot point..... whether the game starts with "My name is Professor Trees and I research the appearance of new pokemon species. It seems like lots of newly-discovered pokemon just straight-up didn't exist until recently, go research that for me" or like, the legendaries create new species. How amazing would it be if a bunch of new pokemon species were unleashed into the world halfway through the quest?

Ok we cool then. It'd be best if this doesn't become another gen fighting thread and stays true to what it's for so I'll just say anything anyone complains about in terms of pokemon designs can be found in every gen.
More on topic - what are we trying to do right now?
Stopped watching as I'm oon my way home now, but we healed up at the pokemon centre and we've got a few options, gym or safari zone iirc. Not sure on the current direction tho, prob gym would be best

One thing I'll say about designs is that a lot of the 2D sprites and drawings can make the designs seem less appealing than they might be otherwise. The sprites are usually not very detailed and the drawings can have strange poses or expressions. In X/Y, there were a number of new designs that I didn't like until I saw them in 3D.

I sure hope they get Lapras before they go to the safari zone because Box 1 will inevitable get filled with pokemon once they start wondering around in the grass there. Gen I had this little caveat where you couldn't catch more pokemon without manually switching to Box 2 on the PC. Imagine the horrors that could await if we need to switch boxes before depositing a pokemon to free up a spot for a pokemon that can learn surf.
They'll just release whoever is at the top of the box to make room.
Nah, we'll just release everything in the box first.

If we go Democratic then priority number one should be switching DigRat Dig from first to third moveslot. Would minimize accidents as opposed to its intentional utility
