Can't decide on a favorite so i will go with most recent.
I do not like the aestetic of the MGS1 cyborg ninja suit , its very boring.
However raiden in rising is all the things i wanted out of a cyborg ninja. Or the contempary definition of ninja, which just means no sneaking and just slaying.

I like most of the ninja's costumes in Mark of the Ninja, but this one is ace:

It's a human mech ninja. Can't get anymore Japanese authentic than that.

Are they? I've seen lots of ninjas in video games over the years and while there is a shade of blue on certain characters, it's most likely an artist appeal I guess.

I've always loved Rikimaru from Tenchu.
My first thought. Raiden's pretty cool too though, in MGS4.
I'm not too fond of his design in Revengeance.
