Another less well known ninja with a cool design was from the PS2 almost classic Bouncer.

Hotsuma reminded me of him a bit when the PS2 Shinobi came out, but Hotsuma's much cooler.

That's based on the 80's Japanese TV Show, Shadow Warriors (see my icon). In more recent versions of the game, they have altered the image to no longer be an exact copy of the actor Sonny Chiba.

Modern Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden 1, Black and 2 easily for me. OG Team Ninja nailed that design perfectly, plus his alts are just as good as well.

Then after it would be Strider, I loved his design since way back then. Don't know why Silky thinks he's not a ninja as well.

Hard to believe that Square Enix probably has the rights to the series since they bought Taito. I feel like there's still life in Ninja Warriors as a series. Robot ninjas (some with blade arms) should sell themselves.
