A 2GB GTX 460 is the minimum GPU for a recommended experience. There were also minimum specs leaked that just stated GPU as 1GB DirectX 11 capable.

they even admitted with far cry 3 that they over polished the and designed the shit out of the demo area and that they can't do that for the full game (what the excuse was for the downgrade of the same area in the pc version we'll never know)

they do this almost every time and you still play it off as innocense on their part... how naive can you get

Far Cry 3 still turned out to be an amazing game that looked pretty nice. The downgrades certainly didn't ruin anything. I always thought it was blown way out of proportion.

Outside of the quality of the game, the "bullshot" gameplay was quite ridiculous. I don't know why we should accept those things as the "norm"?

Killzone 2 and Motorstorm were actual CG trailers. It was plain as day. They actually DID attempt to lie about those, though, as you say.

With Watch Dogs, I'm pretty positive that was not the case. What they showed in 2012 is what they were working on at the time. That was their ambition. They didn't create that to fool people. It wasn't just a CG trailer. It wasn't malicious intent either.

Something went wrong during development and now we have this situation. It sucks and is disappointing but it doesn't imply that they were actually engaging in wrongdoing back in 2012.

If this was the only time Ubisoft did this my thinking would be along these lines. But you'd be crazy not to acknowledge this pattern that has emerged with Ubisoft titles..
