Yes, but I'm am era where 20GB games are regularly sold for $5 on competing stores I find it hard to accept $8 for decade old GBA games.
Sale prices on stores like Steam should not be used to inform the static price of a game.

Mario And Luigi Summary said:Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga: ...their first role-playing adventure as a team of Bros... the Bros. must venture beyond the Mushroom Kingdom... Control each bro separately or together, then team up to unleash Bros. Attacks
Seriously. Steam is friggin' great but it's definitely been devaluing games. Just because you can find something for cheap doesn't mean it's actually worth what you paid.Sale prices on stores like Steam should not be used to inform the static price of a game.
Even if he didn't get it at sale price he's still paying like $2 more for a PS2 game then he is for a GBA or SNES game.Sale prices on stores like Steam should not be used to inform the static price of a game.
N64 was 10 to 12, with 12 being games that had to be Localized because they were never released in the west. We're prolly going to be looking at 12-18 for DS and Gamecube Games.
N64 is $10 on Wii vc so I think $12 is the lowest it can be
lol if N64 gets a price increase when it finally comes to Wii u
Also, I really hope Wii U owners support Metroid Fusion and Zero Mission when they are released. If these games are successful then perhaps it'll give Nintendo reason to consider a sequel.
How does this look good? The clouds are gray. I guess I'll have to wait another 5 years for the real Yoshi's Island.
It is called bundling a save file with it. They won't do it because like having Gyro to release Yoshi's Universal Gravitation that is like effort which is against the Nintendo emulation ethos.I took the title to mean that the GBA version of Mario 3 was coming. If that every happens, Nintendo needs to find a way to include the ereader levels. It's a real shame that there's no reasonable way to play that full version right now.
The GBA pricing is in line with SNES VC titles. GBA was kind of like a portable SNES, so it makes some kind of sense.
The DS was like a portable N64, I think DS games would be $9.99 as well.
If we ever get GameCube games, I think $14.99 would be the starting price.
Dat first post. I don't understand why they port the gba versions of SNES games. I'd rather have the better SNES version with the better sound chip.$8 seems like a lot for straight ports, or maybe I am just cheap.
SNES vs. GBA says you're wrongWhile the DS may have been roughly a portable N64, DS games were released from 2004 (geez really that long ago? I am feeling old) to around 2011. N64 games were released from about 1996-2001. I have a feeling you're going to be paying more for games released 3-10 years ago than you'd pay for games released 12+ years ago.
Give it a break already since when did straight ports give you save states? did you expect them to redo all the graphics and add new content at the same time?8 dollars is ridiculous for straight ports of nearly 10 year old handheld games. They won't be getting my dollar.
Edit: Not to mention the missing content these games will have thanks to lack of multiplayer. Wouldn't be surprised if the e-Reader content for some of these games was paid DLC.
These GBA games would be much better suited to 3DS releases. I wonder why Nintendo is having so much trouble coming up with a proper GBA emulator for their portable system.
And $8? Those are ridiculous prices.
So I take it you've never bought VC games before on Wii, Wii U, or 3DS?8 dollars is ridiculous for straight ports of nearly 10 year old handheld games. They won't be getting my dollar.
I also have the cynical feeling it'll made as DLC if it were to happen.
He expected the games to be cheaper. It's not hard to understand.Give it a break already since when did straight ports give you save states? did you expect them to redo all the graphics and add new content at the same time?
Paid DLC? Really? The nonsense continues.8 dollars is ridiculous for straight ports of nearly 10 year old handheld games. They won't be getting my dollar.

Anyone who expected that isn't paying attention. He expected the games to be cheaper. It's not hard to understand.
Lots of people probably haven't. When they were released GBA games had a low overhead on them, and you could pick up most of these titles for $30 on release. It's hard to feel like paying roughly a third of that over ten years down the road is very worthwhile, particularly when one of the main functionalities of the titles (them being portable) has been removed. So I take it you've never bought VC games before on Wii, Wii U, or 3DS?
Yes.The original Advance Wars had hot seat multiplayer, right?
If the content is good, why does this matter? That Nintendo premium. Only 2 dollars less than ps2 games.
How does this look good? The clouds are gray. I guess I'll have to wait another 5 years for the real Yoshi's Island.
