Metroid Fusion, day 1 here.
I think most VC games are reasonably priced.GBA games are 8 and that's a long dead platform. It's unlikely we'll ever see reasonably priced games on VC.
Good thing tha theres no GC games on vc, because the price would probably be $25 - $30
The exaggeration continues...Good thing tha theres no GC games on vc, because the price would probably be $25 - $30
The original Advance Wars is extremely outdated. I wouldn't be happy paying that much for it.People are complaining about paying $8 for Superstar Saga and Advance Wars?
Please, GAF. Please.
Why stop there? Let's say they would be $50. There's no reality holding you back.
I doubt that. $10 - $12 makes much more sense.
No way. GC games, at max, would be $20, and I think $15 or so is more likely. Nintendo, IMO, has been doing pretty well pricing their VC content thus far, with some exceptions.I almost said $60 so the joke would be funnny
But i really believe they would charge $25 for gc games, and thats not funny
I don't agree with that. Galaga is like $5 and you could get the Namco collection for $15 on Amazon and that includes Galaga + 13 other arcade games.I think most VC games are reasonably priced.

So you think Galaga should be a dollar then?I don't agree with that. Galaga is like $5 and you could get the Namco collection for $15 on Amazon and that includes Galaga + 13 other arcade games.
As I said, for the most part. Sports games and puzzle games are the exceptions. Oh, and Urban Champion, because that game is trash. It's not an exaggeration. They're still charging $4.99 for NES Baseball in 2014, when you can find better equivalents on the App Store for free.
No multiplayer? B-b-but I thought Nintendo wanted to achieve perfect emulation? Kirby & the Amazing Mirror is going to suck without it.
$8 seems like a lot for straight ports, or maybe I am just cheap.
How is this greed, exactly? I'm not sure what the big deal is. $7 - $8 is reasonable. Has mobile pricing really devalued games so much?Nintendo overpricing content? Shocking. Still baffles me why Nintnedo doesn't get called out for their greed.

Cool, I finally get to play Advance Wars, Mario and Luigi, and Golden Sun. Day one for me.
Also 8 bucks is too much for a GBA game? Really guys? 8 seems like a pretty fair price, especially considering some of these games are hours and hours long.
It should be, at max, $3. I just checked my phones app store and they have a version of Galaga with updated graphics for free.So you think Galaga should be a dollar then?
The prices for these games are quite a rip-off. I just checked the PSN prices for Final Fantasy VII and IX and they are $9.99.
Comparing that to a $7.99 GBA game... egh...
Nintendo overpricing content? Shocking. Still baffles me why Nintnedo doesn't get called out for their greed.
Sony sells PS1 games for $5.99. I just bought GTA IV for less than $5 and Vice City for less than $3. $8 for a GBA port is a rip off.
I was hoping it would be here during the launch of GBA VC.
I might get Advance Wars, but I'm not sure. Anyword on multiplayer for some of these games? (Probably none I'm sure)

You realize that those GTA games were on sale for 75% off of their regular price when you bought them, right?
So many tight-asses on GAF. 8 dollars for some of these games is better value than half of the shit that gets released on a weekly basis in 2014.

THIS
and then people will go "oh why nintendo don't release more metroid games ???" .... BECAUSE YOU COULD NOT PAY THE PRICE OF A MACDONALDS LUNCH TO PLAY METROID
Weren't they charging $10-15 for n64 games. If that is the case, then $20-25 for gamecube games sounds pretty realistic
