Touching summon signs for duels and running away chuggin Estus after one hit. Not to even mention abusing imbalanced builds, spawn camping and rude emotes (hatemail feels good tho after wiping the floor with their asses).

The more PVP I play the more I realize how terrible I am.
And/or how unprepared my build is to tackle most challenges in PVP.

You can get a branch before beating any boss, so it fits your criteria.

I think it's more of a problem with this games high levels and everyone being able to be jack-of-all-trades.
It is my preference to keep to one specialized playstyle per character e.g dual-wielding and high dexterity.
Yes, I'm a bit salty after my recent PVP sessions.

the only bad thing about the pvp is the lag. I'm a mage, rolling out of a blade's reach is essential. getting hit when I'm clearly too far can be really frustrating.
Killing people in PvP with a sword earned through jolly cooperation? I'd normally say you should be ashamed of yourself. Buuuut then again, they were trying to ring your bell...The more I invade people threatening my bell the more I realize most of them probably don't even know about the bell pvp stuff. I've lost three encounters from 25, and won every one just rolling around, stabbing people with the Sun Sword. Couple of the wins have been with someone else invading too though, can't really say those count.
The little cave between The Gutter and Black Gulch, after the acid vases.
This is how I am sometimes. though slowly getting better.
I do better when they invade me and I make them come to me.
And they have to roll through a shit ton of laggy protecticles before they even get to you, I'd say they have it worse.
I don't like soul memory and I never invade anyone ever. I've lost at least 300,000 souls on my faith character *that I can clearly count* over the past week. I also like to farm souls and buy everything from the merchants even if I don't need it. I'm that guy. I don't like the idea that these activities which don't make me stronger in any way are putting me in a higher "tier" and potentially making it harder for me to link up with other people.
My biggest problem with PvP is that I always make my characters for PvE. And they suck against to the armour-less agile players on PvP. Specially this character I'm playing with that goes for the jack of all trades master of none way. It works well in the game, but in PvP it is useless.
With the introduction of mundane weapons I don't see how jack of all trades could have it worse in PvP.

And the lag. One second you are facing your opponent. The other they are backstabbing you.
You know I simply can't wrap my head around how mundane infusion works. What kind of build benefits from such a thing?Very few weapons shine as mundane and very few jack of all trades-players will level all stats equally.
I can safely say I haven't been lagstabbed once so far, though I suspect I might have got a good lagstab in on someone while in vading in the Crypt.
Why is the drop rate for the black steel katana so fucking low? i've wiped out the entire area and not a single katana drop. This is with +item discovery and coins. Seriously, this is stupid.
I had about 5 drop all in one run. All I wanted was a helm.

I've been playing around with Dual Caestus and really enjoying it. Has anyone progressed to the end of "Company of Champions" Covenant where your basic fist do massive damage? I read this "Covenant ring for champions. Increases bare handed attack power.
The attack power increase scales with Dex and Strength, when testing I found that on 6 Str and 6 Dex you do about 200 damage a hit, however with 24 Str and 34 Dex the damage was a massive 424. You are also able to duel wield bare hands as if you have to claw weapons making the damage potential very potent."
Sounds interesting and fun.
Finished this last night and starting on NG+. Last playthrough was a balanced build, but this time I want to go full strength, with secondary in dex, adaptability and stamina. What's a good weapon (prefer one-handed swords or curved swords) that scales well to Strength?
You guys are either lieing or just stupidly lucky. I've depopulated the entire fucking level and not a single drop. This is with +item discovery and a coin. Theres other way around it. Theres no fucking way it can be this rare.
I'm using the Mastodon Halberd, I love it.

Yeah, I got quite a few Black Steel Katanas clearing that first area of Iron Keep.
I didn't feel like it was a very good weapon, though. Is there something I'm missing?
One of the harder bosses for me.Thankfully it's super short and has one of the easier bosses in the game.

Seriously whomever said the katana was eays to get can go fuck themselves. They're either super lucky or lieing.

no, you people are all trolling me. That's it. You're all trolling me, theres no rhyme or reaosn why you can find several witbhout depopulating the level, but, I can not. I've even sued an ascetic and still no drop.
