That is concept art of Quiet which looks remarkably like Paz. Going by the theory it's possible Kojima had initially intended for Chico to try and look like Paz as he felt so bad, but went a different direction.

At first I would call you crazy but since Kojima made every secondary character a member of the Patriots or someone from Metal Gear Solid 1, I wouldn't be surprised.

Wait, why are people comparing Chico's dad to The End? The End was in no way related to Chico or Amanda so you can't explain her supposed powers that way. Still the theory is interesting. The reason why it can't be dismissed so easily is because Chico has been through some shit, watching the older girl you like get gang raped in front of you and then being forced to have sex with her yourself, only to soon afterwards watchthat person get blown up by a bomb implanted in god knows-where, is bound to screw up your mind.

Do you people remember the insane theories regarding Peace Walker's and Rising's protagonist? People were saying that Peace Walker would feature an older Otacon becoming a soldier to follow the legacy of the Snakes, and that the cyborg protagonist of Rising was not Raiden, but an older Sunny.

Some Metal Gear fans are definitely crazier than Metal Gear itself.
 
I'm sure that not even Kojima is that crazy.

It's more likely that she's just another daughter of The End.

There was one guy on GameFAQs pre-MGS3 who was 100% convinced that it didn't actually star Big Boss, but Solid Snake who used a time machine invented by Otacon to relive events in Big Boss's life.

I wish there was a page where all the crazy theories that pop up before a new MGS game is released were compiled.
 
It really is crazy that for all the (deserved) flak Kojima gets for feeling the need to link every character to every other character in the series, the fans have always been WAY crazier about that kind of thing.

When the Co-op trailer for Peace Walker came out people were insisting that there would actually be four Snakes in the game, all clones of each other.

Well I heard this theory somewhere else but it might be an illusion created from Big Boss' psyche. The voice actor for the head wrapped guy is definitely Kiefer Sutherland.

The guy said he's been watching over Big Boss for 9 years. Who would be in a hospital that long with him? Also he seemingly disappears once Big Boss leaves the hospital.
