I support this though. Id def buy these as I haven't played them if they ever came out on steam.

Sega Rally Revo used to be available on Steam, but it was removed because of car licensing rights. Daytona has always had that issue too. Though Sega could always release it unto the Sega Racing Classic name.
Yeah id be fine with that. I just love those old arcade racers. I had the 360 port of Daytona and thought hey they already ported it to that why not to PC.
But anyway I agree that we need these newer games on PC. Seeing them with good framerates and at 1080p+ would really bring out the great art they have.

I feel bad signing because no way I'd buy Virtua Fighter 5, but I'll sign anyway because Vanquish and Bayonetta deserve justice.
I wouldn't buy VF5 either as I am not a fan of fighting games, but Sega actually has the largest library of games of any Japanese publisher that I would like to see on PC.
They just have this massive backcatalog of quality and variety, even going back to their Xbox/DC days with Skies of Arkadia, Shenmue I/II, Otogi I/II, JSRF, Panzer Dragoon Orta, etc.
otogi is a from game.
I know, but Sega published and, most-likely, owns the IP.
Property rights tend to be difficult to ascertain, so most of this is assumption.

I asked you to read OP as it states which games are being targeted by the campaign initially and the reasoning behind it. The long term goal is to convince Sega to port other games from their back catalog.

Not sure if that is totally definitive proof, but if From does own the IP they should put a small team on updating the game and self-publishing on PC/Next-gen.
SEGA love their copyright lines but it wasn't there so yeah.
anyway, From didn't even port Ninja Blade themselves and Dark Souls they did port was a disaster so I don't see them having team to port old games.
for pc ports it's better if we just stay away from From, they are a lost cause really. just focus on SEGA own games.

I was wondering this myself a couple hours ago because we still aren't getting media to report us because of a lack of "concrete" info from SEGA (see Siliconera replying to me here) and I thought maybe this is the sega community manager's fault, you know? For not giving us a juicy quote like the Namco CM did, then I went back and read the Namco CM's initial quote that started all of that:

I'd say TotalBiscuit support is more important (as he got huge amount of Steam followers) sadly he wont support it and wont even cover it because this is SGEA related.

Except that PSO2 was developed for PC, and so, it's already available on PC...on Japan.
The petition is about porting SEGA games to PC, so PSO2 doesn't apply to this situation.
