Ugh, I lost my post.
My understanding of AC, having only played 5 min of it max, is that Villagers all look roughly the same. They have the differentiation of a Mii or less. Correct me if I am wrong on that.
Meanwhile, FE can give you a child, 40 year old man, or a total babe. I think there is a clear difference here that makes the character undoable.

Considering the Avatar is used in advertising, there is precedence if sakurai likes the character and concept enough. Either default look or Hooded look. Easy
Oh, and the villagers can look quite a bit different from the default look in Smash bros.
Wait a minute here. Why would she use a Landmaster when she can easily use her staff or the Krazoa Spirits?
If Krystal makes it in, I think she will be the only Star Fox rep that wouldn't be a clone.

This is a good thing. Meteor smashes are incredibly satisfying to use.

True, Fire Emblem has the potential for some amazing ATs. I can even see Robin becoming an AT, if not a character, that would momentarily follow you character around and attack a few times after you land a hit or even block you from danger by jumping in front of incoming attacks.
I hope we get some more Animal Crossing stuff. Animal villagers make witty remarks on stage, Villager picks up Zelda, Peach, Rosalina, Wii Fit Trainer, and Samus.
Plus does anyone remember Kirby's Animal Friends from Dreamland 3 and Kirby 64 Crystal Shards?
I feel like the Animal Friends keep getting shafted and I wish they would be represented more often in both Kirby and Smash.
They would work great as Assist Trophies and their soo adorable. They each have their own powers to assist Kirby too!
I think they'd be a unique addition to Smash and it pays homage to Kirby's older works even if these were the first Kirby games that Sakurai didn't direct.
Melee Ganondorf is so god damn satisfying to play as.
Falco's side special doesn't get pulled off as a meteor smash often, but it's pretty damn cool when it does.

This idea is awesome. It could work with any popular Awakening character though, like Lucina or Anna if they aren't playable for example.

Probably Ike's dair, since it has such a wind up and it feels good to be that gutsy and mobile with him. Of course, Martha tipper spike on a recovering opponent after releasing the edge takes the cake in the "feels" department

Why the hate? I honestly expected the Skyward Sword versions from all the Zelda cast, but looks like it won't be that way. At least we got SS Link.
And yes, I honestly want Demise. If not, as an alternative costume for Ganondork.

Good. I need to get back into it myself. Im only on chpt 8 on classic hard mode and I find it brutal being the rusty FE fan that I am. Really solid though.

Just look at all that grace as he leaps above another person and gently whispers "NOPE" before casting them back into the abyss.
Ganondorf's Thunderstomp is the only other meteor that reaches that level of satisfying.

This reminds me why there won't be a super meter in the game. It'd be pointless, the Final Smashes are so damn varying in how they're balanced (some are meant to deal a lot of damage to every enemy, some just KO one enemy, ect). They'd have to be reworked entirely for a super meter system to be competitive.

How about just fucking split Zero Suit Samus off of regular instead of making the awful final smash transformation. It fucks the character. I literally have to get the smash ball when it comes up or I am at an extreme disadvantage. Then I'm stuck playing with her even if I die until I can get it again to swap back.
Fuckin pisses me off to no end.
How about dark Samus? How about a space pirate?
I would be okay if she transformed, hell even off the final smash if when I died I reset into the suit.

Mario's fair is sooo satisfying when it connects. I think I like it so much because of it's animation. I find it really cool for some reason.
i love spamming pikachu's taunts moreso than PIKAAA!
Oh man, I just realized that my two most hyped newcomers thus far come equipped with great looking spikes. Hard Knuckle is S tier trolling material, meanwhile Rosalina's spike looks silly in how fast it recovers and how wide an active area it has.

I know it's not the most ideal solution, but you could select ZSS from the character select screen, at least
True it could work well with most popular characters. I thought it would be a nice way to represent one of Awakening main gameplay mechanics. It's been sort of discussed here before as a way to implement a Chrom/Lucina character but if all else fails, it would be a nice AT.
