I think putting Iron Man as the 2nd worse Marvel film seems strange.
 
The movie was a revelation, in more ways than one. Superb job by everyone involved. I am so hyped for CA3 now.

Also...

Avengers > Winter Soldier > Iron Man > Thor > Dark World > Iron Man 3 > Captain America > Iron Man 2 > Hulk
 
This movie is phenomenal. I only enjoyed the first hour of cap1 but this movie rivals The Avengers, even exceeds it in many ways. Bless that imax soundstage.


I don't know how the directors pulled this off given their pervious work. Good fucking job.
 
Winter Soldier and The Avengers are fighting for the top spot on my Marvels best movies list.

Such a fantastic movie. They showed Caps real strength in this one, amazing fight scenes. Great story and had the humor as well.

Don't read unless you've seen it.

You know, for how awesome the hand-to-hand stuff was, I would have expected the shootouts to be much better than they actually were.

Out of the dozens of rankings i've seen in these MCU threads, this might be the first one that matches mine 1:1, minus CA:TWS, which i haven't seen yet. Admittedly, i haven't seen Iron Man 1-2 and TIH in ages, so those 3 might go up or down by one spot when i rewatch them, but right now this list is exactly how i would rank them.

Looking forward to CA:TWS later today.
 
Watched the movie yesterday and imo is the best solo film and on par with The Avengers. I loved it. Go watch it immediately people. It's quite more series than the rest of the Marvel films but it still has quite a lot of funny moments. And literally every action scene is awesome.
 
Really puts into perspective how forgettable the Thor movies were, and how mediocre the first Cap was. This blew them out of the water.
 
This is going to be a weekend for action. Going to see the raid 2, loved the winter soldier's action scenes. The robotic arm really spiced things up and added a new element to action sequences.Hopefully the raid blows it away though :)

For me, Iron man #1, Winter soldier #2, rest are pretty forgettable.
 
Haven't seen Cap 2 yet but I'm going at 1:45 this afternoon. Super hyped!

Winter Soldier was incredible. Wonderful pacing, great characters work (Falcon especially), Winter Soldier was perfect and the action. My word the action. The way Cap moves and fights in this movie. Best martial arts action since the Matrix. Maybe better. Amazing stuff.

He showed up, steered the movie in the right direction, and then faded back into the shadows until he was needed again. Worked for me.

Whenever things go down Tony's always in the shower/asleep/banging Pepper/etc and so he can't press the "Avengers Assemble" button.
 
Just saw it. It was intense and somewhat melancholic in tone. Cap movies always have that tinge of sadness to them. Either because by situation he's somewhat a loner or because most people he care for are out of his reach. I can definitely identify with that. I also think the action scenes are rather tense and have a sense of urgency and danger to them. Not as exciting as Avengers but still tight in its own way. I think this is my 2nd favorite Marvel film after Avengers.

Hoping that GotG ends up near those top movies because it'll need great word of mouth if it wants to succeed.

Heh, this is my exact same list, except 1 and 2 switched, but it comes down to IM's suit being my favorite thing ever.

Like I said, this movie really raised the bar for future ones. I hope GotG does the same, in different ways (camp/charm/space action and adventurous feel).

Holy shit, this. TWS was a great film, and even with all the hype I didn't expect it to be.

I'm thinking hard about it, but it might, MIGHT, top Iron Man for me:

I think GotG is going to end up doing pretty well. When the trailer played at my showing, a lot of people were first going "huh? This is Marvel?" but it ended up pushing all the right buttons for the audience, and got a much more noticeable reaction than ASM2 or X-Men.
 
I love the Marvel movies but I don't follow the comics or keep up with the series that much outside of watching the movies. Are they going to make a Hulk movie with the guy who played him in the Avengers? I know the last Hulk movie is supposed to be in the same universe, but the different actor makes it feel out of place. I'm hoping they make another Hulk with the guy from the Avengers.

Also, what other Marvel movies are on the horizon besides Avengers 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Captain America 3?
 
Absolutely loved it. The fighting was just fantastic and so brutal, great supporting cast as well. They really made Cap a badass. My favorite, and I'll say the best Phase 2 movie by far. Rankings!

Avengers=Cap 2=Iron Man>Thor>IM2>TFA>TDW>IM3>Incr Hulk

I'll need to see it again to say I like it more than IM1.
