1) Avengers
2) Captain America The Winter Soldier
3) Iron Man
4) Thor The Dark World
5) Iron Man 3
6) Thor
7) Captain America

Since we are doing rankings, Phase 2 has been pretty darn good so far

1. The Avengers
2. Thor the Dark World
3. The Winter Soldier
4. Iron Man
5. The Incredible Hulk
6. Iron Man 2
7. Thor
8. Captain America
9. Iron Man 3

I still want a good Hulk movie

Me too. And I have some ideas for what would make a really good Hulk movie.

First thing on the list. Whatever happens, never ever, ever have Bruce Banner (supergenius, fugitive from everyone, hardest guy to find in the world) wear a red sweatshirt during a chase scene. He shouldn't even own a red sweatshirt. Yes, it's picking a nit, but I feel that was probably the worst part of Incredible Hulk because it made everything they said later about him being super good at this whole fugitive from justice thing seem laughable.

And, of course, the plot sucked. You just can't have a hero's quest story where it's established from the get-go that the quest cannot be completed for out of story reasons.

He showed up, steered the movie in the right direction, and then faded back into the shadows until he was needed again. Worked for me.
By that logic, ASM2 could be called ASM2: OSCORP's Mysterious Shadow Man.

Yep, movie should be called : CA : that 70's hydra doctor.

The winter soldier was the weak part of the movie , he looked bland and out of the story
Exactly. From the trailers it looked like a real threat to Cap but it all just fizzed in the movie.

6 year old fan asks Sebastian a question.

I don't know what talk show was this on.

My rankings would be:

1. Avengers
2. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
3. Ironman
4. Ironman 3
5: Thor: Dark World
6. Captain America: The First Avenger
7. Thor
8. Ironman 2

The Avengers
Iron Man
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Thor: The Dark World
Captain America: The First Avenger
Thor
Iron Man 2
Incredible Hulk

Iron Man 3

Also has Doctor Strange been confirmed?

Not quite, but between all the background noise about it and the reference in Winter Soldier, I think it's a pretty safe bet for Phase 3.

Marvels crown jewel! What an amazing film! I loved how viciously brutal The Winter Solider was, makes other Marvel villains look like cartoon caricatures
One lesson they seemed to have learnt from the Nolan films was most of the cast was hyper-competent and was essentially a series of one up-ing each other

I would entrust the directors to do a good Metal Gear film

Regarding the Winter Soldier:
Do you think Bucky will appear in Avengers 2 or do you think that the story with him will just pick up when the next Captain America is released?

Kojima did tweet that he absolutely loved the film. Could work now since the Russo brothers are going places now after this movie.

For the time being, he is a Cap character and no point to appear in Avengers yet. Maybe later.

I think putting Iron Man as the 2nd worse Marvel film seems strange.

While I think Iron Man 1 was the best of the Iron Man films, I wonder if anyone would have it ranked high if it had anyone other than Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark.

While I like Chris Evans...I could see his role being pulled off well by a lot of hollywood actors (white, fit males that can decently act).

Robert Downey made me interested in a Marvel character that I thought was one of the most overrated in the history of comics.

I think Ant Man is about to take the helm as the most overrated super hero ever, but a good actor can save the hero.

If everyone is doing rankings I want to do to.

1-3, The Winter Soldier/Avengers/Iron Man.
I like them all for different reasons. Avengers for the spectacle and Iron Man & TWS for being the most complete films in the MCU.

4. Iron Man 3.
Really fun movie, the twist didn't bother me at all. Just not as good the my top 3.

5-8. Hulk/Thor/Iron Man 2/The First Avenger
These are pretty close in ranking for me and it all depends on what I want at the moment. All of them have faults but I still enjoy them non the less.

9. Thor: The Dark World.
This one is my least favorite so far. It's just a weird mishmash of fantasy, earth stuff and Star Wars that didn't resonate with me at all.

Overall I'm a big fan of the comics and the MCU so TDW being less than stellar doesn't matter much in the big picture for me.

TWS really was a perfect movie for the MCU. It has its own tone but still fits greatly into the universe. It has some perfect character moments and great action. I hope they look at it and takes away some lessons going forward.

Chris Evans role would be hard to replace. Evans is charismatic which is what Hollywood generally doesn't look for anymore. They want the silent type that has a dark energy like the dud from avatar. Chris Evans has charisma that most other actors in these roles generally lack. Outside of Downey, Jackman, Hemsworth, Ruffalo, Jackson, Hiddleston, Gregg, Anthony Mackie, and Norton everyone else that gets these superhero parts lack charisma.

Which is why I think The Rock getting a part in the DC movie is going to steal the show more so than Ayelet Zurer did in Man of Steel.

I might as well do my own ranking.

1) Avengers
2/3) Captain America: Winter Soldier and Iron Man (can't pick one over the other so they share both #2 and 3 slots)
4) Iron Man 3
5) Thor: The Dark World
6) Captain America: The First Avenger
7) Thor
8) Iron Man 2
9) The Incredible Hulk

Haven't seen this yet but I keep seeing Metal Gear comparisons. They announced a live action MGS film a little while back, I think it's been a couple of years now but maybe they should get these guys to direct.

Red Shirt is actually a pretty logical nitpick.

I could see a Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver solo film post Avengers 2 being wildly successful given the casting

And if they somehow get Depp for Dr. Strange in combination with a successful Ep VII release, they will be able to start burning money.

You could make a fantastic Hulk movie, but it has to be someone like the Gravage Hulk instead of Savage or Silent Hulk. Pretty much just do a movie based off his Gravage persona on the most recent Avengers cartoons.

It works great if you can have Banner and Hulk conversing and arguing with each other while always trying to 1-up each other for control.

Gonna stop you right there.
You can't make a good "Hulk" movie.

You could make a good She-Hulk movie though I guess.

I still have hope for a decent Hulk movie. I'm just ready to embrace that shit. She-Hulk would make a great tv series. I'm talking HBO, AMC at the very least. Would be fucking great.
