Some very good deals to be had, looks like I'll be picking up some stuff.

Tempted by Silent Hill BoM for the price - I know it's not a traditional Silent Hill, but I'm curious about it...

I knew it would pay to wait on TxK...

I got it last yr for $7.50 and it kept my attention for a little bit. There was just too much better stuff waiting in my backlog to keep me invested. I enjoyed it enough to want to revisit and beat it though. Game is decent just becomes kinda repetitive. Only worth it at a low price.

Though the framerate can be crappy in areas i'd suggest little kings story over silent hill ( at tgeir sale prices)

Bought Kickbeat, EscapeVektor, Dustforce and PSABR DLC. My brain got the better of me before I plunged on Let's Fish and Legends of War. Want a strategy game on the vita but the latter and Zombie Tycoon 2 are subpar :/

Let's Fish is still teasing me by being so cheap. Maybe my curiosity will win.

Not worth playing for free. Buggy mess that runs at something like 10FPS in certain stages (despite looking like butt)
World's worst dub (which you -have- to listen to to play the game)

Stupid questions but...

1. Is there anyway to see what games are on sale via the Vita's Playstation Store? I can't seem to find a 'Deals' section like on Ps3. If not for this topic I would've missed the 50 cent Flying Hampster.

2. Watched a review of Sunflowers and it mentioned alternate control methods but failed to mention what they were because the 'default controls are perfect.' Game itself looked fun and I am sure the default controls work fine but I just don't like touch controls or gyro controls. Is there a way to play the game with button controls? Like no touch or "shake" stuff at all?

Alittle late but I finally caved in bought everything Project Diva on the Vita, hopefully the songs last me a few months.

Yes. Click on "Featured", scroll way down and there is a section called "weekly deals". Yep, the placement is stupid.

Go buy Flying Hamster for 50 cents on the North American store, and vote Vita/PS4 in poll.
Vita is right behind PC as the preferred platform right now! :o

What's the consensus on Ragnarok Odyssey Ace for PS3 and/or Vita?

I noticed all the free DLC(and free Tales of costumes), and was sorta interested, but this version didn't come with a demo unlike the previous version.

No, only moving by either front or backtouch or both. You can shoot using the triggers instead of tapping.

The controls work well but I also don't understand why they don't give the player the option to use the analog stick. The layout is even correct when you turn your Vita sideways.

Thanks! Might still grab it anyway because of the price.

To Vita 2000 owners: did you guys get a hard carrying case for it? If so, could you point me to where you got it? I only found one model that isn't sold out (on nippon-yasan). It seems fine, but I would like some more options.

Yup. It was the entire house that was robbed, with me and my dad being at gun point the entire time.

We're making some changes in the house the priority this time around, so I dunno if I'll get a Vita soon.

Oh man, that sucks. Must've been a horrible experience. Glad to hear you and your father are alright. This sorta thing shouldn't happen to anybody. Especially not a Vitamuffin as yourself.

Saw this. The game looks good.
I hope it's not over the top difficult like Rainbow Moon.
RM gets easier not too far into the game, at least that's what I found. I got bored with it though, which shouldn't happen with this assuming the core gameplay is solid.

I know I told you guys to vote Vita, but I don't know if I want it to win. I say that because I get the sense that they'll include Vita as part of the base Kickstarter goal due to the poll, and that's not going to be enough to bring in the remaining money.

I ended up just buying the official Sony Travel Pouch again as yeah, couldn't find any hard cases that werent horrid looking/overly bulky

They should cancel it and restart it later. I think that a higher initial funding with more than one platform (Steam, IOS, Android, Vita) and new stretch goals could help the project.

EDIT: 45.2% vita / 38.7 pc

MotoGP 13 is really ugly and I don't care for motorcycles at all. Don't know if the gameplay is done right but the first race wasn't fun.

Didn't spend anything on it due to PS+ but hoped for a better game.

Any news on the Sly Trilogy? Release is next week and I couldn't find any information on it.
I'm interested, but don't want another Jak & Daxter (technical) disaster.

So word of warning gaffers!!!

I bought the Battlefield 4 upgrade when it was still in the store to use with my PS3 disc but I was sick of having to put the disc in all the time so I bought the PS3 digital version today so that it would work without needing the disc but it doesn't!!!!

The game will only boot with the PS3 disc, I also tried restoring licences and I deleted the entire game and tried to reinstall it but it still needs the disc.

Now I'm gonna have to deal with Sony to get a refund so that will probably take a month considering how shit their customer service is :-(

Hope this post stops people from falling into this trap. :-)

Nice to see Tecmo Koei put some of their older games up on PSN. I see Warriors Legends Of Troy now up on the store today and I really like that game, one of my guilty pleasures. Tempted to pick it up again along with some of the games in the easter sale.

Systems and art look pretty neat, not too sure how this is supposed to make me think of a classic JRPG, but whatever. Mechanics and UI I'm not sold on yet, looks kinda rough, or maybe I'm just prejudiced against this kinda turn based click to move in a game that I expected to be more actiony. Fairly interested in giving it a shot, though. That girls' mouth continues to freak me out

GAF recommend me a good / atmospheric horror game for the vita! I heard corpse party is pretty good?!

Lone Survivor Director's Cut.

Corpse Party series is pretty grotesque and crude if your okay with it.

There also Parasite Eve for the PSOne classics.

Click and hold on the bubble until a "..." appears. Click that and you'll get a few different options. corrosivefrost said it doesn't work anymore though like 20 posts back

It didn't work for me -- I have a red bag on the demo in the store but the full version shows as $6.99 and no "owned" icon.

Vita is right behind PC as the preferred platform right now! :o

Considering flying hamster HD is a vita only title and the original is a mini, that makes the most sense in terms of "awareness".
I backed their kickstarter and am currently planning on getting my copy for PC... but I also told them I was interested in Vita.

If you're looking for atmospheric horror, pick up a decent set of headphones/earbuds for your Vita and allow Corpse Party to work its magic on you.

Anyone here able to install Playstation All-Stars for Vita? I get to 15% and get an error code, seems like a common occurence from 1 year ago if google is anything to go by.

Corpse Party is fantastic, genuinely scary too. You should get both but the second one is more of a VN.

Be sure to play with headphones as the game was recorded with binaural audio

Death mode levels are so much more interesting to play than the regular Sound Shape campaign. I'm really enjoying it, don't know why I waited so long to play it
