Cool beans. Not sure on whether you were being sarcastic about the megaton news, but it's big to me. I wondered if this would ever come. Next up is #4!

No sarcasm here. I'm not horribly interested in Smash, but the Game and Watch Gallery games are my most played VC titled on 3DS.

Cool to have the 3rd one coming. Have the 2nd and 4th Game and Watch Gallery games on their original systems. never played this one.

That's it, Kid Icarus Uprising is finally available on the EU eShop. I wonder what the deal was... Price is 34.99€.

Apparently, you can buy the stand + AR Cards on the European Nintendo Store. Price is 4.99€ for that.

Oh cool, glad to see G&WG3 finally might be coming. 2 & 3 were the ones I played the most as a kid (despite only owning the first one). Wonder if 4 will make it on the Wii U VC.

This does not seem to be on the UK Nintendo online store yet. I might try prodding customer services to find out if there are any plans for it but I'm going to wait for the news post saying the game is out to be on the Nintendo UK website first (they might have held back the story to get that ready).

If you don't want the stand I did find in the repair section is listed that Germans can get 6 Kid Icarus AR cards for only, €3.57+shipping...which I think is more than buying individual cards from Panini (Panini are missing some from their "missing stickers" section though...they did retail at £1.50 for 6 which was bad enough...)

Next week on Japan eShop

Nintendo DSi | DsiWare

Whoa. Knew they were getting DK Land, but they're already on Land 2? Man, it's depressing to just look at how much better Japan's line-up always is.

That's one hell of a VC week for Japan, I'm jealous, I'd buy everything from their list.
It's a solid list outside of Donkey Kong Land.

I wonder if we'll get TG16 stuff over here this time.

It's not something Konami can really ignore in Japan where the PC-Engine was as big as the Famicom, but overseas......

I hate Konami.

It's a VERY blatant Zelda 1 ripoff, but those weren't exactly common, so it's pretty cool.

The first game is good, not great, there's some aimless sections of it.

The sequel is pretty solid though.

Hmm...I do like Zelda ripoffs. If it comes to the NA VC service, I might have to check it out eventually, along with its sequel.

I'd like to check these out. Do they offer a lot of content?

G&WG4 has a lot more games than G&WG2 if I remember right. They both have the original G&W game plus updated versions(G&WG4 look nicer ofc since it a GBA game). G&WG4 also has some extra unlockable games which are just the OG version. Some of them are those dual screen games which is pretty cool. The 4th one definitely has a lot of content.

I spent a lot of time trying to get high scores on each version of the games. The higher the score you get on each version of the game the more stars you get. I think the max is 5 stars for each version of a game and I had fun trying to get all of them. Stars unlock stuff in the gallery like music and more games i believe.

Well the Pinball Arcade guy issued an apology since he found that he was clearly wrong. The comment was meant to be about the PS4.

Also, it seems like Atlus picked up the failed Kickstarter game Citizens of Earth. It's now coming to the Wii U & 3DS eShop.

Thank you! I'll definitely check them out. They sound like a lot of fun.

I'll definitely have to look them up in the future. I've only played one other TG16 game, so I'm definitely interested in playing more at some point.
Most of the stuff that got put on Wii VC is pretty good, I don't think there are many duds.

But if you are interested, I could list a dozen or more of the best hits and maybe a line or two on why each one is worth a sixer.

What happened?

Some community manager said the "PS3 stomps on the Wii U... Wii U = Wii 1.5" in terms of power, etc. Internet raged at the stupidity of his statement, and he eventually apologized when the devs he worked with said that was completely false. They were saying the PS4 and XB1 are more powerful than the Wii U. It was nothing important lol.

Went to go buy M&L off eShop. No funds on my account right now, so I go to add funds. No option for needed funds exists on Wii U, apparently. Sucks.
Huh? That option does exist. Try buying the game and when it tells you that you're low on funds, try adding more with a credit card and the option will be on the bottom. They even let you add funds under $5 which I really appreciate.

Use the Pay remainder with Credit Card option, or something similar. It will just charge for the price of the game and nothing else.

The one I played was SimEarth, and I didn't enjoy it at all, even though I really like simulation games. I'd definitely be interested in which games are must plays. I know Ys I & II was one of them, but that's really it.

yea it does

Ah, okay. I was going into Add Funds and it only had the usual ten dollar increments. Thanks, folks.

Earthlock: Festival of Magic (JRPG style) reached its goal in kickstarter by the way. Can't wait for the game. There's still some time left too.
The kickstarter's here
And a neogaf thread about it is here

Great! I assume it's coming to PC too still though? Shame the kickstarter failed though, but at least they get to finish the game.
edit: Here's the neogaf thread about the Atlus news.

Sure, they can make all the fun they want, after they finally released that promised WiiU version of their game. They still owe me a Twilight Zone code for WiiU from their Kickstarter.

Looks like there's a new NES Remix 2 trailer.

Cool that you can now watch other people's playthroughs of challenges, but damn that they kept the interface from the original.

Also, it reveals the other Championship Mode games are SMB3 (get 25 coins) & Dr. Mario (get a high score). First challenge is still getting 50 coins in SMB like with Nintendo World Championship.
