GAF recommend me a good / atmospheric horror game for the vita! I heard corpse party is pretty good?!

I second Lone Survivor as a recommendation. It's like a 2d silent hill. It has great art and music too.

Or you can just get Silent Hill on Vita, as that's amazing as well and one of the scariest games I've ever played.

Death mode levels are so much more interesting to play than the regular Sound Shape campaign. I'm really enjoying it, don't know why I waited so long to play it

Cool if they patched into the PS4 the "take over your friend's game" they announced way back at last E3 I'd let you beat all those stages for me.

I'm actually surprised that isn't in the patch notes for the system update we are getting who knows when.

Death mode was easily my least favorite part of Sound Shapes. I played it a few times, but I don't have the patience to ever finish it.

Agreed, feel free to do those for me too.

If by more interesting you mean frustrating because of awful luck based design then I agree. Seriously death mode in sound shapes was terrible.

Is there anyway to put wipeout pure on the vita? I know japan and Europe are able to download it straight to vita.

I don't have a ps3 but is that the only way?

Is it just me or is the new content manager and CMA update super annoying? You always have to start the content manager on the Vita first and go through it to select the file to copy. Before, you could just use the app the file belongs to if the other device was already known.

Sucks especially if you have to disconnect the Vita so the CMA can rebuild the database. Then you have to reconnect and go through the content manager again. It already was a hassle before but they try harder to make it as uncomfortable as possible to manage data.

Is it different from 'Flying Hamster HD' on iPad?

Well, crap -- I didn't realize they ported it out or something -- It's not on any other platform I own at least (consoles).

Cue the LOL Apple. :P

Yeah, sure, until you get to the ones where you can't win unless the game gives you a good spawn.

yay psnow

So did I! :D

SWEET, just got my PSNow beta code!

Are you allowed to say this under the NDA? :lol

Has there been any further news on Legend of Raven (Yatagarasu) for Vita?
I was looking forward to it but not heard anything this year about it.

Where is Wolf Among Us Vita and them damn new episodes of Walking Dead we are supposed to get, Why we always gotta wait to get the damn crumbs? Install base should be better by now.

Kickbeat really sucks, I should have known better as I already disliked Castlestorm from Zen Studios.

My first impression was good. The game looks very clean and has a nice image quality. That's practically everything positive I can say.

My good impression was crushed by a shitty and boring tutorial. After finishing it, I could start the campaign with its hilariously bad story. They really should have tried to make it more cheesy and less 'serious' when the story is so unbelievable dumb. All the characters are bland, generic and the ultimative stereotype, I don't know if I should be offended. Zen Studios really needs a better art direction because this was already the case with Castlestorm.

The gameplay doesn't work really well because everything on the screen is so busy and the camera is just placed bad. Just as you think you have got it, the next level changes the perspective to fuck you over again.
I also don't feel like the music is really synchronised with whats happening. And while we are speaking of the music, it just plain sucks so far. I don't know, never had a thing for Marylin Manson even the one and a half decades ago when it was popular with some people. I feel like the next song will be something like Limp Bizkit or so, lol. I'd rather listen to weird vocaloid pop than to this wannabe rock.

Alright, I need some help. I bought valkyria chronicles 2 with the web store, but how do I download it onto the PC and transfer it to the Vita?

You can also push it directly to your Vita via the SEN store.
You sure? Only shows the option to download to the PS3 from the SEN store for me

I don't think many companies are excited about another ~180-200k people in the install base.

Now this might be a strange request, but hear me out:

Can you folks recommend me great music/songs that come from Vita games? The title of the song & the game they're coming from, if you please.

Thanks.

Guys, I just credited $30,00 at PSN, and have the $10,00 bonus from buying a game a time ago. What do you recommend me buying to PS Vita with $40,00??
I was thinking about FFX/X-2 seems a great idea, but I want more options! =)

I hear lots of good things about Gravity Rush's soundtrack, but I haven't played it yet, so I can't say. I have "Old Town" and "Discovery of Gravitation" in a playlist that I listen to every now and then, but like I said, I'm far from an authority (on this, or anything else musical in nature, honestly)

I really like "In Search of the Sete Cidades" and "Chase's Theme" from Uncharted: Golden Abyss, they're distinctly unique feeling tracks from the main series, but still feel like they carry a lot of the feel, mood, and iconic sounds of the stuff from the PS3 games.

Persona 4 Golden has GOAT soundtrack, if you want songs that are Vita specific, "Time to Make History" is the new battle theme, and wasn't in the PS2 game and "Shadow World" is the new opening song, but otherwise picking one great track is like choosing between your favorite children. "Reach Out to the Truth", "Pursuing My True Self", "Your Affection", "The Genesis" and "I'll Face Myself" are pretty well burned into my skull forever.

"Hydrogen" from Hotline Miami is pretty great, its a multiplatform indie game that came to the Vita pretty late, so I'm not sure if you want to count that one.

That's all I got off the top of my head, but I'm a relatively new Vita owner.

I may have gone overboard with the Easter sale
Kickbeat
Walking Dead
Retro City Rampage
Rainbow Moon
Sorcery Saga
Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate
Tales of Xillia
Eufloria HD
TxK
Dustforce
Injustice

Hopefully my 64gb arrives soon, so I can try these out.

My PS+ subscription is almost over. :| I hope there will be a good sale soon as I don't find any good reason to continue my subscription with the current game selection. NA PSN user here btw.

This is one of the better SCEE sales though. I usually envy the SCEA Vita sales.

Grass is always greener.

I remember the days when there were 0 vita sales in NA and EU was having applicable sales every week. General price drops across the board on PSP and PSone games. Sales that included them. PSone classics that actually work. :lol

NA prices are significantly cheaper to begin with. Not to mention Plus members get an extra 50% off on sales unlike the measly 10% in EU sales. Plus 60hz PSOne classics while we're stuck with the shitty 50hz Final Fantasies. And then there's all the stuff that just isn't out here period like Persona 2: EP.
