Love killing Hexers and Sorcs in PvP. I just imagine the looks on their faces when their pro PvP build gets killed by a DEX character with an un-enchanted rapier. XD
I genuinely laugh whenever someone fucking owns me in DS

Guess I'm made for this game :lol

Pfft, my first character only got armor drops from Alonne knights in NG and NG+. And playing my second character, the first drop from the first Alonne knight is a Blacksteel Katana...LOL

Thanks game.

I wish we could buy Petrified Dragon Bone - it's really hampering my fun of testing boss weapons :(. What is the easiest way to farm them?

You can use a bonfire ascetic at
Dragon Aerie. No boss, and the dragons don't seem to get much more difficult.
It can be a fairly quick run once you get familiar with how to work it.

I might have to do that, unfortunately. That said, by NG++ we should be able to purchase it normally. We put our time in by then.

I just helped someone clear Shrine of Mana...

...as an invader :lol

I was blocking the mobs from hitting him and rolling in front of them to slow them down

I did invade him once before that and we dueled fairly so I figured I might as well help him now :p

Brotherhood of Blood pls understand

I don't even believe you.

Really though, I appreciate you did that. No red has ever done that for me though I've heard such tales.

So I haven't been able to play since I beat the game due to school and other stuff, but I just looked at the new calibrations with gameplay fixes they're rolling out. How do you guys feel about the changes? I think increased defense for the NPC summons is great, making bosses and enemies easier not so great. As far as PVP goes I've never used the moonlight greatsword, but I didn't think it was too bad when playing against it. With the changes it seems useless. The other PvP changes seem good to me, I just hope things like spells, magic and even WoG stay viable despite being nerfed.

Finally got the platinum trophy for this game :).

Anyone have any suggestions for a good melee weapon for a hexer? I'm part of the reason why people hate hexers in PvP, but I'm tired of using my Dark Sun Sword/Poison Knives against people who know how to roll.

When I saw Soul Geyser, Flame Swathe, and Forbidden Sun listed as being nerfed, I felt sad. If I'm not spamming Great Resonant Soul, then I'm 3-4 shotting bosses with Soul Geyser. I'm going to be a lost and sad puppy without my OP sorc.

What's the percentage for the platinum in this game? Wish achievements had stats like that.

Gaf, does the same element stack on a weapon? i.e. Heide Knight with Lightning infusion + Sunlight Blade. Can you even buff infused weapons with Sunlight Blade?

Lol, sounds like someone didn't have a good hexer experience. While I agree with you somewhat, hexes are this games winning class. GRS with the MLGS, along with knowing timing and feinting puts you at the top. You're deadly from all ranges. Your opponent generally can't even run away to flask. Either way, I finished a STR build and hexer build, so I'm going to do a nice dual katana build.

have fun getting nerfed. It's gunna happen soon. SOON. You're worse then the giant dads hahaha. Giant dads are like boom boom bang bang

Yes. I killed a fucking hexer today with my warrior. I bet he was so mad. I had to do it. To wash the taint of playing a mage out of my mouth.

Hate it when they hide and I end up wasting an invasion stone :(
I played hide and seek in Iron keep they didn't seem very happy after they timed out I just sat at the top of the Alonne Captain's little tower.

What boss weapons are worth making? I'm interested in that dragon rider bow for example any feedback on ultra greatswords and greatswords is welcome.

I rocked the Chime of Want for my hexer for a while. 40 faith might be too high for people though. I ended up respeccing to use my Idol's Chime though.

Dragonrider bow is a good strength bow, buy uses a lot of stamina.

I honestly dont care anymore. Dex Katana builds >>>>>>>> shitty ass hex mages. I will never ever, ever play as a mage, ever again. I'mm a warrior, a badass warrior who likes to get naked and run into enemies with my sword. I hate the overtly cautious nature of mages, I hate it.

Hex Mages aren't even fun to play, it's just boring. I honestly think all mages are just crazy or cowards afraid of real blood. I don't care how "OP" mages are, I don't give a fuck. Warriors are true bros, we don't rely on magic to get shit done. What we have is pure fucking skill.
This is why I havent tried building a mage in the 3 souls games I've played. Well I actually tried mage but the highest leveled mage build I have reached only lvl 40 then I went back to a melee build. I think playing as mage is fun, but the series real strength is playing as a melee build.

Probably the complete opposite for ES series.

Haha. I've never used a single spell in the game, went with pure melee from the beginning, so I can't relate to you there. But when I play against a mage in PvP I like the feeling of dodging and overcoming things like Flame Swathe, rolling under Soul Greatswords, or catching the tells of Old Sun Ring and dodging just in time. Fighting magic users mixes up the PvP for me and makes it more interesting, even if sometimes I get obliterated within seconds.

Any advice before starting NG+?

If you have 8~10 estus gulps, you're good since you can get shards very early in the game. If not, I'd find a few before starting NG+. Same thought goes with Sublime Bone Dust.

Buy 99 of every titanite stone. If you don't have enough souls, buy 99 chunks. You may never find a use for them, but it doesn't hurt.

Find some extra Soul Vessels if you're into min-maxing.

Thanks! Iv got 4 Soul Vessels and 10 Estus Flasks +5.
I'll get some more chunks/shards then.

Can a fella explain to me in a non spoilery way how to free the chick inside the cage locked using a person wrapped in chains?
Kingdom Hearts. Hehe

I've had BPs help through an entire stage in Demon's Souls before (Stage 1-3 to be specific). I think they could even attack enemies in that.

I was summoned as for co-op and the host had an invader who just dropped free stuff, waved and went home.

Some Black Phantoms are worthy of the name Bloodbro, but some are just called "asshole ganker", their usual name. XD

that's not an issue I'll look into getting one then. I think it's going to be a nice complement to the pursuer greatsword I think.

Doesn't the key get plunged into an ample bosom?

Going through NG+ it made me remember how disappointed I was when there was nothing (much) in Cale's house in Majula. On my first playthrough, I thought after what he said that it was going to lead somewhere under the mansion. I imagined a dark passage going down like the Catacombs in DS1. :)

Give the Silverback Sickle a try. Dark infused, it makes a great backup to my Crypt Blacksword if I need low stam/quick hits. Plus R2 goes through shields.

Roaring Halberd fully buffed and Dark infused is also pretty boss.

Cool, will check out the SB Sickle. I guess I have to attack the undead wardens and Agdayne to get it?

Lol for my next build (Once I'm done getting the damn plat for my hex build) I want to make Leonardo (admittedly, a stolen idea). Duel wielding katanas with the turtle body armor only. I'm sure it'll be fun! Straight up VIG/END/DEX only (with a few into ADP and VIT).

Does the invisible weapon spell hide all the weapons in your right hand, even if you swap between the slots? Because I just dueled a dude who was swapping between three different weapons and they were all invisible.
