started playing final fantasy 14 today. Didnt know teh early access started already.

But man, im still waiting on the youtube app for PS4. I HATE using the youtube site. the youtube apps are more neatly organized and very convenient. Being able to chill on my bed or couch and watch gaming news videos on a 42 inch TV has it's perks, ya know.

Using youtube.tv via browser and connecting my ipad to surf vids is as good, although a native one would be nice. But at least this doesnt give me weird overscan like with the ps3 app.

So Gaf, I think I have a problem. Or maybe not. Yup, this will be a simple one...

Yesterday after my Toukiden session I was of the mind to retry the shitty and hard little games in the welcome area, or whatever it is called. I remembered that there was more than one 'number' game and, well, let's try to 'chieve them, why not ? So first one, no problem, second one too, and third one with the rear touchpad ? If I had stroke a brick I would have obtained more feedback. The thing seemed dead as hell.
So what ? Had I been living a lie for years ? Was my life now meaningless without an annoying rear panel ? I'm joking but really, I'm annoyed and puzzled here.

Well, then I remembered that the Tearaway demo have rear touchpad functionality and that they worked for me. I even retried it and yup, my finger, the rear panel, love at first sight.
But still, I swear I tried everything in that fucking number game.
What should I try to test the rear panel ? Is it used in the main vita menu ? (because really, apart from Tearaway demo I could have no rear touchpad and wouldn't see a difference)

I know the question seems more than a little odd for a Vita user, but having so little interest in the functionality I can imagine myself missing the fact that it is defect since launch.

The best part about that video is that they aren't just remapping L/R2-3 on the touchpad. Jak's control scheme was shitty because of this.

Just played PvZ: Garden Warfare. Sony should have moneyhatted EA for a Vita version, I think it would have done quite well as shooters are rare on the Vita and it maybe could have sold some systems to kids as SCEE is trying. I mean, every kid I know, knows PvZ and loves it. They also like playing shooters (but aren't allowed to).
On the VIta the game would have had some spotlight compared to the Xbox releases where it is overshadowed by all the other shooters included Titanfall. I am not speaking of something exclusive, but a port should have worked.

There's no reason not to release it in NA/EU. I'm pretty sure the Hong Kong version will have English text (or at least its insanely slow website does).
