what would be a good liquid to clean the oled screen? mine needs a good cleaning since the cloth i use (for glasses) is not good enough.

So when is the US PSN release of football manager? I thought it was 11/04 everywhere? That was the only date I found.

Just found this:
Don't know about outside Europe yet.

I thought it was confirmed to release in US too? Huh?

I'm so pumped for a new memory card - I'm going to buy ALL of the games.

How is MGS HD? Worth getting - or should I get the PS3 version instead (since they're much the same price)

MGS HD is fantastic on Vita, the only downside is that the PS3 version has Peace Walker, which Vita, for some very incoveivable reason, doesnt. If you dont mind going PS3, PS3 version would be the way to go for PW.

Popped into an Apple store today and after I asked a quick question he asks if I like my Vita. I noticed it was sticking out of my jacket a bit (torn pocket lol). Anyway he starts talking about how he loves his so I quickly take mine out and tell him about luftrausers. He didn't know about neogaf.

Also if that wasn't good enough, he was black ;) Really though, my mum was with me so she was sort of impressed that someone who seems quite mature and well spoken also loves his new gameboy.

Thanks man - I might go for the Vita version. That said I only really want MGS 3 - 2 was all kinds of poops

Well there's Peace Walker PSP which is Vita compatible.

True but that is not really a reason for not including it the HD collection other than "screw you and pay twice".

Which means if you dont care where you play it, PS3 version is the better value proposition.

Noticed there's a SMT Devil Summoner Ps2 classic on sale for $ 9.99 on PSN. Don't think I ever played this game...or maybe I did. can't remember.

This is a straightforward RPG, right? Any good?

That's the first Raidou SMT game. Generally speaking its sequel is much better and improves on it, but you could get this for the story and characters.

Yeah, there's no reason like MGS2+MGS3 already taking up a full game cartridge, or the fact that Peace Walker HD's port wasn't done by Bluepoint leading to Armature not necessarily being the most experienced studio to port it to Vita. It was just greed on Konami's part.

You sound sour, but I am sure adding a PSP download code for every MGS HD collection Vita buyer to mitigate the missing content from the HD collection would have been IMPOSSIBLY hard to pull off.

The pain that Konami would have needed to endure to pull this off... phew, man. Dodged a bullet there.

Seriously, do you guys just never delete games from your memcards?

Originally, I owned only a 8GB card with the Vita purchase but latter got two 16 GB cards through trade ins and much latter a 32GB card during a great Gamestop sale (where they had them for only 50 bucks), then trading in two cards (one 16 and one 8) toward that purchase.

Its not that bad managing game space, as long as you take advantage of the cloud storage and frequently upload your games to your computer (which is very helpful; whenever you want the game again, you just plug in your computer and copy it to your Vita :)).

The whole memory solution is annoying, but its not bad enough to be horrid.

Peace Walker wasn't even downloadable on the North American Vita store until last May. If you want greed from Konami, go look at how they released the HD Collection on PS3/360 in Japan. North America, and Europe only got them as one set because of SCEA.

How did they release them? Single releases and higher price?

And yeah, you are right at the PW release thing, but they still could have thrown a code in for every HD collection buyer afterwards. But its still annoying me that PW wasnt included, not even as PSP download. MGS HD Vita was among my first Vita games btw.

What kind of cable do you guys from the UK use to connect your PS4 to the internet? I bought this one from Amazon but it doesn't work.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007UGF3DG/

That's, if I'm not mistaken, a telephone socket to Ethernet.

You want one like this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000I1T3ZE/

Which would go PS4 > Ethernet cable > Router

VitaGAF (UK), I need a nice case or pouch for my Vita. Any suggestions?

And do grips really make that much of a difference?

Still no Portable Ops or Acid games on PSN :/

I own all 3 of them on PSP but can't play them on Vita without cfw. damn.

Man, the Ac!d games were so good. I get the impression Kojima just wants to bury them because of their non-canon story nonsense.

I wish I could play them again on Vita :(

Yep; MGS2+MGS3 (which was called MGS HD Edition - the same name given to the Vita release in JP) was ¥5,637 (~$60), while MGS: PW HD was ¥5,122 (~$55).

This is news. Guess another awesome port from them.

It's been known for a while ;)
And yes, it seems pretty good as well, at least fps-wise which is the most important thing.I hope they're in charge of R&C too.

btw I was waiting for Sly and wanted to get it on day one, but now I'll have to wait a bit :( fumk you PSN

Wow.

dat box art
img_package_01_zps1677ecaa.png

That's a real eye-catcher of a cover; gorgeous stuff. You'd never see something like that used as box art in the West. It'd be substituted for a portrait of some brooding, eyes down/chin up-posing ruffian looking ready to tear shit up.

...
Fuck it
ranko-spot1.jpg

I'm getting it =_=
...but I'm still conflicted.
That's just the poster for the films. Were you planning to get that alone or the PS3 collection with Tsukigime Ranko's Longest Day? Because unless you are really really interested in the short films, the game portion of the latter is not worth what they are charging by a huge margin. It's beyond ass.

I'm honestly surprised at the lack of fan service and Nueko on the cover.

If it ever comes out in the west (I really hope it does), I'm hoping they do a reverse cover like Soul Sacrifice had. Boring western cover on one side, cool Japanese cover on the other.

Sigh let me break it down for you. This is what I'm getting from Short Peace for PS3:
4 anime shorts from acclaimed anime directors
A short Grasshopper Manufacture (Suda 51) video game
A big ass 200+ page artbook

For 38 Pounds (excluding shipping...) that's a good deal to me.

...

Yup, Vita only gets moe games.
Eh, considering the promotional material they've released up to now and the niche/cult status of the first game I think it's a reasonable reaction.

Well, didn't know about the artbook, but just don't expect too much from the game. I still think it's overpriced at that price but if I had even paid $20 for the game portion without the films I would've felt it was the worst purchase I made this generation.

They're great ports and look great but MGS 2 has a variable Frame Rate. Original game runs at 60fps everywhere while on the Vita it runs at the 60fps indoors and 30fps outdoors. On the bright side there's no screen tearing like there was on the PS2 version. MGS3 runs at a solid 30fps.

I need 18 cents to buy some DLC on PSN. Is there any way to add that amount to my account? Last I heard, you need to add in at least $5 increments?

Were there any new impressions on Football Manager from Euro PSN gaffers?
