I just bought a Ps4. I bought an Xb1 at launch and told myself id wait til xmas for the ps4, but i had the chance to get a pre owned one in good condition for 300.

Heres the thing though... I bought it with zero intention of buying any games yet. If i do, Infamous would be the only one I would buy.

Im sort of having buyers remorse and wavering on cancelling my order due to this.

Is ps+ and the f2p games worth the investment? Should I have waited til xmas? I had the extra cash, so I figured Id just do it now... But... Ehhhh

Have Sony made an "Announced Vita games for 2014" list like they did for the PS4? I'd imagine it would be enormous!

And reading the Drinkbox comments about the Vita - we buy a shit tonne of games! Just looking through my trophy list I have 32 entries for the Vita and that doesn't include the games I've queued up to download once this card arrives.

The system will still be $399 at the end of the year, so why NOT get it early? I see no reason not to keep it for $300. You may find some stuff you want to play between now and Christmas, and now you won't have to wait.

I must've missed the party... I essentially bought a Vita for Soundshapes and the game was just underwhelming and disappointing to me. Maybe I'm to blame for the high expectations I had after Everyday Shooter, but it really fell flat as far as I'm concerned.

Glad you liked it though.

yeah it is a shame considering how beautiful that JP boxart was.

But i guess the original's sales weren't good enough to consider a physical release in the West this time around.

Freedom Wars and Oreshika are both new so i think they will give them a chance at a physical release. It's what i'm hoping for anyway.

Well I can't blame Drinkbox since they make really good game for Vita! I bet the purchases on Vita alone enough to recoup the development cost of both game. Hope they'll continue releasing new games on Vita, they're the western support we need all this time.

for f2p games, you should try Warframe/DC Universe, I wasted so many hours on Warframe, it's like ME mp on steroids

There's no official word on retail/digital for FW or Oreshika - and I doubt there'll be before they announce the release dates.

Like i said before, i think vanilla Soul Sacrifice didn't too well enough in the west to warrant a physical release for Delta.

Oreshika and Freedom Wars, being new titles, have more of a chance for a physical release.

Soul Sacrifice did better than any Vita released at the time and is one of the best selling Vita titles. It has way better sales than Tearaway also.
