We have a challenge for Retro. In Donkey Kong Country Returns 3, create a story where Donkey Kong gets dong cancer. Imagine the drama of a vulnerable Donkey Kong still persisting on his quest for bananas despite his illness. It needs fleshing out, no pun intended, but we guarantee that the gaming world would be shocked, stunned, and moved by the effort to make Donkey Kong's character more meaningful.

Hold up, seriously? I'm going to be so upset not because this could be fake but because with this bit of info I could guess exactly how they did it.

The two shots don't quite match up (Look at Mario), also the off screen shot doesn't have compression like the "clear" shot. I'm gonna go with this guy is faking it to make people think it's fake.

Mario looks a bit diferent, the staff looks longer, but he got the same Palutena there...
I remember saying it was fake, but Palutena was going to make it in anyways.
- New shot is direct shot, not off-screen
- Mario's head, and only his head, is in a slightly different position
- Mario's head model is actually different. Lighting on the hat is off, mustache is off.
- Palutena's orb is a different color (size?)
Possibilities:
- This proves it's fake, as this is a screenshot taken seconds after/before the other one
- This guy tried to make a fake shot of the previous shot to try to prove the previous shot fake, even though it's real. (lol)
- Guy made a fake shot based off the old fake shot. (lol)

Guys, the Palutena shots weren't made by someone. It's clear from the various differences (Mario's head, Palutena's staff) that someone recreated the Palutena shots to try and make it look like they're fakes. See the various posts elaborating above.
This reminds me of Pokémon XY, where certain Pokémon leaked and people would pretend that they're fakes, saying "I made them" and showing art, only for them to be ultimately proven real. Pignite being shopped from Lickilicky, anyone?

Actually she is in the exact same position.
Or this is one of the original WIP images? Mario's head being in a slightly different position makes sense if they took a batch of them at once for editing later.
Everything else, like the color of the staff, could be touched up in Photoshop. That'd actually be remarkably easy.

He could load the "new" image on the 3ds and take a picture of it and it would have no artifacts right?
Wouldn't a direct, photoshopped image, have tons of artifacts, but a screenshot of a photoshop image NOT have the artifacts?
