Vita did so well the usual haters just lingered for a chance to bash it again. The desastrous NPD gave them the fuel to do so. There is no sugarcoating the NPD numbers but I hate that it seems these are the only numbers people care for when they call for the death of the Vita.
Hope we get the Usual Nintendo numbers soon again. Let's see if the Vita beats the Wii U again thanks to Europe and Japan.

Clearly the software sales volume on the system is significant. Even Hideo BABA... The guys who specifically shot down the idea of bringing games to Vita in the West.... Is now on board

I think you might see that kind of price for Christmas. I'll probably pick up a PSV-2000 if a certain store gets a stock of it. Usually they give 20% coupon. So $160 2K bundle isn't that bad.
Man, I'd love to go full digital with my PS4. But living in Austria, my PSN account's region is Germany, which means I'd get censored games occasionally.
I could create a second account, either UK or USA, but I'd prefer to keep a single account for all purchases, friends and trophies. If we just were able to change the region/country of PSN accounts..

You can play PS4 games bought with a US account on your Austrian account.

I've never been a huge Tales of fan and this doesn't seem to be doing anything special.
Well, I might buy it if I find it cheap but it isn't exactly high on my list.

Okay, so i Just found out that Destiny of Spirits doesn't let the vita auto-sleep!
Was playing earlier (about 2 hours ago), but went to do some other stuff. Just got back to my vita and noticed that the screen was still on! First thing I did was look for burn in. Luckily there seems to be none. Why would they disable auto sleep? That's kinda dangerous, no? Would have been super bummed if my screen was screwed up. :l

I'm mainly buying it to support the localization , will buy day 1 if physical.
Not really a fan of the changes to the game but its a remake so i respect that.
Hopefully it sells well enough and we get Bamco to notice us western Vita owners

Certain games do this. I remember once a while back, I booted up Hot Shots Golf, and put it in the case so it could be ready for me when I was ready for it. I got sidetracked, and I looked at the unit an hour or two later, and it was still on -_- I did the samr thing, checked for burn in, but I think it was a movie that was looping, so no real worries there. Not sure why devs do it though, perhaps to ensure that certain features of the game don't become unavailable? As in when the Vita sleeps, network is disconnected, restricting certain "abilities" of the game?

Where did this rumor start? Just curious.
Gaffer in this thread said there would be a sale. He then ominously posted a random date a week later which was today. We all assumed that would be the date of the flash sale since we were talking about a sale happening and he had mentioned there'd be a big sale a week earlier

Hopefully they're not all just $1 indie games then. Some deals on retail games would be nice.
If past PSN sales are any indication, there will be a healthy mix between Indie and Retail (for example, in the 14 for 14 sale, the Vita games had Sly 4, Soul Sacrifice, Epic Mickey 2, and Killzone as retail games while plenty of Indie games joined them on the sale).

My worry exactly. I have nothing against indies and could bite on some, but please, some discounts on bigger titles would be cool too. 99c for the sake of 99c... meh...
Seems like the former would be the case. $1 on retail games is one hell of a deep discount.
Hopefully not everything is literally $1 and there are PS+ discounts and retail games at $5-ish.
I do wonder though, some odd games were put up on PSN lately (Sonic Unleashed? Out of all the possible Sonic games to put up on PSN, why Sonic Unleashed almost six years after its original release...), so maybe those games will be part of this flash sale or something.

Wouldn't be the first time a digital release of a older title has happened out of the blue, Ratchet & Clank Tools of Destruction for example got a stealth digital release on the PAL PSN store a few months ago iirc.
