Imori 201 ch. 9

Being bored in the summer? Sounds like any old summer to me.

This manga has one of the best harems out there. A witch cosplayer, a NEET drunk girl who pretends to be a high school girl, and two of the most laziest cops out there.

Dodging TWGOK spoilers like danmaku. At least I can finally start reading it now it's finished.

Kuuki no Soko 1-16 (END)
Collection of short stories with varied, unorthodox and often quite grisly premises. It's from the early 70s and just edges out Gin'iro no Kami no Arisa as the oldest thing I've read. As always, the quality of the stories fluctuated considerably, with the better ones containing some real flashes of ingenuity. A little less abruptness to some of the endings would've been welcome. Above average overall.

Cannibalism belongs to A Huge Battleship, doesn't it?
Que? Though that's still better than when you had me pegged as the resident porn guy a few weeks ago.
I think yanderes belongs to him.
Insofar as they cause cute suffering, yes.

TWGOK End

Solid ending. I'm glad Chihiro won but having him completely fall in love with her felt a bit abrupt. I guess those feelings kind of built up over time after the end of the Goddess arc but the lack of her doing really anything of importance over the last like 100 chapters kind of dampens the impact. I'll probably reread this at some point and just skip the entirety of the time-travel arc though. What a colossal waste of time.

Wait are those in between the first season and nise?

Sort of. They're basically the continuation of the Tsubasa Cat arc which didn't fit into the original 12 episode series. Like, they're part of Bakemonogatari but they weren't aired on TV at the time so CR doesn't have the license. They were released online.

Its pretty funny people were rooting for no character development. I mean, he was probably lying when he said he wasn't attracted to girls.

I'm gonna laugh when Wakaki's next series is about Tenri getting a different man.
