I mean if they don't win the title, which they won't, I don't see why someone like Griffin, Paul shouldn't leave because of this. They can still demand a huge paycheck wherever they go and the omission of these stars will drop the Clippers back down to the level of....well...the Clippers. ;)

Sterling makes money off the league and the players, not the other way round.

The players don't need him to make money, the league doesn't need him because the moment the LA Clippers is on sale there will be dozens of interested parties to buy the team.

So, basically it's up to the commissioner whether he has the will to kick him out. It will take a lot of work but the league would be better afterwards.

Sterling is an asshole but if the league tries to force him out he will make it ugly. The Clippers are a garbage franchise but in this day and age they are worth a shitload. The fucking Bucks just sold for $500 million for crying out loud.

Due to how things work in the NBA, if you're not one of the top teams with the best players you have no shot. There is no point in drifting as an OK team.

So some teams decide to basically tank a whole year on purpose in order to have the best chance to obtain a high draft pick. Turns out lots of teams were in the running for tanka-paloza this year.

If Silver was smart he'd exploit this to get Sterling to sell to the Seattle group. As much as I would hate to see that asshole get paid it would be worth it to have him out of the picture.

I can understand the clippers still playing. They worked their whole lives for the similar goal of winning a championship. However, winning a title will make this piece of shit more money so it's a hard decision for them to make. Will be interesting to see what the players do.

I originally thought the Clippers would win the series but this whole thing may mix things up. If I was a minority and played for GS I would do whatever it takes to win this series to show that scumbag up.

Edit:Yea I know they are going to do their job. I hope they do and show they are better than their owner.
