Man my poor Vita has been getting no attention. Dark Souls 2 is still sucking all my game time.

Imagine being able to remote play Dark Souls 2 to the Vita.... Live the dream!

Damn top of the page: Buy The Sly Cooper Trilogy, Cus I am. But seriously play 999, then get VLR. OR Danganronpa. Failing that DW8: Xtreme Legends will do!

Something is afoot, as Demon Gaze is no longer on the VIta store (via the Vita) and cannot be purchased from the SEN web page in the UK.

Maybe all that fanservice got somebody's attention?

Shame as I have had enough fermented grape, that I was gonna purchase this dungeon crawler. Might need to grab Curry God instead.

Blog mentions it is coming with the next update. Was a friday launch so I expected it yesterday.
Now it launches with Conception 2, propably bad for the publisher.

Is there a good way to use headphones (without a built in mic) to use the controller audio (which I'm forced to do, since PS4's audio outputs are fucked) along with a standalone mic? I figured something like this would work, but want to see if anyone has tried it. If they're adding bluetooth headset support in the future, that would work even better.

headphone output goes into splitter input 1, mic goes into splitter input two, splitter output goes to controller port.

Haven't tried but should work fine.

Btw what audio issues? I'm assuming the controller audio is lower quality than from optical or HDMI, so must be relatively serious to prefer that..

It depends on how you intend to get it wet. It probably can't manage a full Cerny tubbing, they're saving that for 2.0, but it might repel a light drizzle. Make sure it's unplugged until dry though.
I should have seen that coming.

God. I would kill for a waterproof Vita.
Vita 3000: now water-resistant, improved OLED, and available in lime green + white in the US. Would pay a lot of cold hard cash.

Bust-a-Move 4 is the ps1 classic? This is a Puzzle Bobble game right?

I loved Bust-a-Move 2 Arcade Edition lots. Is this one as good?

I use the camera as a mic and a Hifi headphone. Not really a cheap and easy to buy solution but if you plan on getting Morpheus, it may be worth it.

I'm probably suuuuper late, but it bears repeating anyway. Tearaway is on sale for $15 at Best Buy and Amazon. Best vita game, people. Don't sleep.

I'm looking at the PS Store and honestly there isn't any Vita games that I really want anymore. I bought most of the stuff that I really wanted already :\

Own it since last December and got it at full price :); such a wonderful game...

At this point, every Vita owners should get it :).

Perfect opportunity to play what you have
j/k, Destiny of Spirits is the only Vita game now

...and to buy everything that comes out in May

Outside of select PS1/PSP games and some upcoming Indie games (like Hotline 2 and Bending of Issac), I got every game I could want on Vita as well :).

The only major 1st party Vita game missing in my collection as of now is LBP Vita, but I know its going to land on Plus at some point this year, so that's why I don't own it yet.

If the GOW Collection, R&C Collection and Sly Collection aren't cross-buy (as I own the disk version of GOW Collection and digital versions of Ratchet/Sly Collection) and are good ports (at least Sly is from what I saw of it online :)), then I might add those to my library too.

I have an issue with the switch my PS4 is connected to. It reports to the PS4 that it can accept 7.1 LPCM (but my amp cannot decode it), so in essence the PS4 outputs 7.1, and the amp deletes a few channels, so I miss out on some sounds. Killzone for instance, the gun reloading is on one of the channels that it deletes, so I don't hear it.

Since the PS4 only has automatic options, I can't force it to 2.0 (like it's possible on PS3), forcing me to use controller audio.

I bought a Zalman a couple years back and just really didn't care for the quality. Last year I upgraded to a ModMic.

I love it. Really a huge quality improvement over the Zalman. I love that it was mountable (via included magnet connector) to my headphones and snaps right off when I don't need it.

Same for me. The only Vita games left that I really want are Ys Celceta and DJMAX.

I literally looked through the entire store and nothing that I didn't already owned screamed Must-Buy to me. There's stuff I'd like to have like TxK and stuff but nothing I really can't live without

I've pretty much bought everything I want as well. Oh well, now I can just kill some of the backlog while I wait Neptunia: Producing Perfection and Neptunia Re;Birth 1 :).

I should have bought the Limited Edition when I had the chance. :(

I know that feel. Game completely flew under my radar; I only managed to score a copy of the regular edition because Play-Asia got them in stock a few months back.

The PS4 audio issues really piss me off. My receiver isn't capable of LPCM 5.1 or some of the newer options, so even when I have it set to DTS or Dolby the PS4 defaults to 2.0. If I want 5.1 I have to use an optical cable, which just ends up being a huge inconvenience.

I just got my 32GB card earlier from Play Asia. Do games download when the Vita is in sleep mode? It seems some the games I queued stop downloading and move onto the next game. They don't seem to finish and just pause. I'm downloading a few games and apps so I'm not sure how this works as I'm coming from a 3DS where it just does it when you close the lid.

You gotta go into system setting and click Power Save options. If you have the option "Use Wifi in Power Save Mode" active, disable it. That should solve your problem :).

those 2 games are some of the best on Vita.

Wish i could have gotten a Vita earlier so i could have found a U.S retail copy of DJMax :/

I'm glad that I got the Korean version (it still has English language) when it went on sale @PlayAsia a few months back for 49.99$. Seems to be sold out everywhere now :/

Grandpa got me a $20 PSN card. I've got $44 in my account now. gaf wat buy?

Some great games you could give a shot include Sega Genesis Collection, Steam World Dig, Runner 2 and Ape Escape On the Loose.

The Sega Genesis Collection for PSP (aka Vita) has almost 30 great Genesis and Arcade games (including but not limited to Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Vectorman 1+2, Shinobi 3, Ristar, Golden Axe 1-3 and tons more!). They are great versions of these classic games and run great on Vita (with customization of the games resolution and if you want smoothing on the games or not). Its only 10 bucks and even without the 'Glitch' that recently ended on PSN, you can still put the game on Vita via PS3->Vita Transfer (I had the game on my Vita since December for example :)).

SWD and Runner 2 are simply great games; the former is very addicting and can easily absorb you hours of your time (sadly the game is short though :() and the latter has tons of content, a killer soundtrack, and a rock solid frame rate + native res. Both are great buys :) (with SWD being...10 bucks I think and Runner 2 being 10 bucks).

Ape Escape was a nice surprise to me, as with the games dual stick controls, one would think the game would be crap on PSP. But no, the PSP version of the original is indeed great :)! The controls are very solid (with the D-Pad being the camera aka right stick on Vita), the visuals are a Dreamcast-level upgrade over the PS1 version, and the game has all the content from said PS1 version. I never played this before outside of the PSP version, but if you never played this before, its a wonderful addition to the Vita with its bright visuals, great controls, goofy charm (the monkeys are really funny :)), inventive gadgets to use (running around with a holoahoop to killing things is priceless) and the game just being great fun. Its 8 bucks on PSN and is fully compatible with Vita (you can even get it via Vita PSN store :)).

Hope these recommendations help Flandy :).

Already have the Genesis Collection. Bought it in 2009 because it was on sale for $10 :P

SWD? Have the PS3 version of Runner 2 through PS+

I played the original Ape Escape on PS1. It was one of my favorite games :D

I bought the regular version directly from their website and they sent me the CE version as extra which was nice considering the cost of shipping.

For real? Wow, that's a $50 difference they gave you for free. Pretty awesome of them. It's sad that we probably won't be getting another DJ Max game for the Vita. It's way better than Project Diva.

And I too regret not getting the CE. I didn't expect to enjoy DJ Max as much as I did, so I passed on it.

Wow, I had this in my hands yesterday for full price but decided to wait, glad I did. Though I am probably the only person that wishes the amazon $15 price was for digital as well, I really prefer my vita games digitally, always hated retail releases for handhelds. The carts are small and easy to lose especially when taking them out of the house, and switching games on the fly is so easy with digital. Wouldn't be a big deal to have one physical game, but I already have P4G physical and like to leave it in the system to slowly try to finish off the platinum trophy. Eh, cannot beat $15, just ordered.

I'm going to have to disagree. I love rhythm games, but I haven't bought DJMAX because of its awkward touchscreen controls. Why couldn't they have just stuck to button controls like in the PSP games? :/

nope, thinking of replacing my PDP folio since I don't have physical retail games... lol
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BI9MDSO/?tag=neogaf0e-20

just wondering if the rubber back will end up scratching the rear touchpad... especially when dust etc is trapped
I've been using the Hori face cover case ever since I switched to all digital. The best part is that I don't even have to take my Vita out of the case when I want to play it.

What? It's better because of the touch screen controls. It's just so much more intuitive and involving.

Also, you haven't bought DJ Max but know that the controls are awkward? I think you should try it for yourself first. I frequently played DJ Max on the subway on easy and normal difficulty just fine. Hard might become troublesome, but then again, I didn't fare any better with it on the table.

I've played the Japanese demo multiple times and have yet to figure out how to hold the Vita properly while playing the game. The Vita is just way too bulky for me.

I figured out how to move my ps1 saves on my ps3 to vita, since all i have to do is fire up the game on vita first or import them to the second slot of any game i already played on vita and use the emulator settings to copy to any other mem card later. I can go finish spyro 2 and grandia now. Huzzah

I don't know what to tell you. Are you trying to use both hands for the front screen? I use my left hand to hold the Vita and handle the back touch pad, while my right hand handles the front screen solo.

That's happened to me too. At this point, if I want to buy any games, I have to go dive into the Japanese $40 games. There's nothing $20 and under that I want anymore. I own everything I want.

Yay? Just a good part of my chronic buying syndrome.
