Huge bummer about the frame rate. The only racing series I have ever truly loved was PGR and Burnout and in both I feel that high FPS was key.

all I want to know is if my Logitech GT wheel is going to work or not
I guess it's just not the same people. One thing I've always wondered, many are quick to jump on DriveClub for being 30fps but aren't Forza Horizon and PGR also held in high regard and are 30fps?

Not sure if trolling or...
PGR ran at 30 fps. Every one of them
It has been the trend in every generation of consoles, so I don't see why this is surprising.
Evo's past motorstorm games were 30fps and they were all insanely fun and enjoyable. I can't wait to see the handling of cars in Driveclub

http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2014/04/30/driveclub-update-evolution-studios-2/We love racing wheels! Were working closely with Thrustmaster to support their awesome wheels already and when Logitech support wheel peripherals on PlayStation 4 wed love to support them in DRIVECLUB too.
It ran at 60fps on 360 too. Not really impressive

Oh well, hopefully Project CARS will rescue the PS4 from 30fps racing hell, I don't care how detailed the cars and lighting are, quite honestly at 150mph I'm focusing on the road and positioning.
Same, but that's in Logitech's hands. Hopefully they add support for the PS4.
Man, a lot of people in here must have really hated or never played the PGR series, Forza Horizon, NFS, Motorstorm, etc.
Were using the power of PlayStation 4 to give you an innovative, fun and staggeringly detailed racing game. Its about the experience and entertainment, not the stats on the back of the box.

It'll be interesting to see if Horizon 2 is 30, everyone is assuming it is, but I don't think anyone really knows yet.
There was more 60 FPS racers than 30 FPS racers during the ps2 gen.
Sadly that golden age is done.

I think it's the whole 'Next Generation should be 1080p 60fps as a standard' thing.
]I'm shocked that people are boasting about Forza 5's 60fps.
Just one look at the game and you can clearly see how many compromises they made to reach that. It is not a good looking next-gen game (Photo mode, yes. Gameplay, not so much)

As a racing fan, highly dissapointed
Looking forward to be blown away by the visuals. Looks EXCEPTIONAL!
GTFO people are happy it's 30 fps because of effects? Yeah you'll def notice the sky and details now going at dat snail pace.

Disappointing, albeit expected. No reason to applaud them for 30fps.

You shouldn't be the game looks a lot better than last gen forza and plays great.
It's priorities are 100% correct in my book.

Joke post?
Hell might as well just have a wireframe mode.GTFO people are happy it's 30 fps because of effects? Yeah you'll def notice the sky and details now going at dat snail pace.
Why people care about wheel support still? It's 30fps, makes using a wheel pointless.
I played that game into the ground on and offline and loved both modes.
Lmao. Some of the posts in this thread.
The MSs are all 30 yeah.I know it's probably not the same people but it just seems like DC has been singled out for the outrage. Evo's previous games were all 30, right?
Better? It looks worse than forza. All we've seen is clouds and day cycles. That's a bold claim. Sorry I'll take a good racing game over pretty sunsets.
Hehe.Yea, people defending this is baffling. But whatever. I guess they rather just park their car and stare at the graphics.
It's disappointing that both of the next-gen consoles don't look like they're built to last but it's early. Hopefully 60fps is still a target a few years from now when sequels are getting made.
what does fluid gameplay even mean?I will speak for myself only, anedoctal evidence and all that, but to me they are all in the same category (DC, FH, PGR). Graphically nice games that chose to get better visuals instead of fluid gameplay. If one deserves criticism, all the others should too.
