You need PS+ for online play, this game will probably need it as well. Unless Sony/FROM are super nice and don't require it.

I forgot about that..but actually, Souls games are totally worth the money even for offline. I played Dark Souls I offline and it was great. Who knows how this game will turn out though. Online play could be more of a focus, or it could be very minimal.

PS4 don't have access to mods, graphical tweaks, etc.

In DS2 PC i can go around with my Bish shield, something that would not be possible on consoles.
